5.1. Préparation

4. Once both upper and lower mounts are in place, lower the vehicle until the suspension is at its normal ride height (or close to it) before fully tightening the lower mounting bolt and nut to the manufacturer's specified torque. This prevents premature wear on bushings.
5. Reinstall the wheels and tighten lug nuts to manufacturer specifications.
6. Lower the vehicle completely and remove jack stands.
7. Perform a final check of all fasteners to ensure they are properly tightened.
