1. Introduction

The Oregon Scientific RAR213HG WeatheratHome Wireless Weather Station provides accurate indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings. This device features Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, allowing integration with a dedicated smart application for iOS and Android devices. It includes a 7-day data logger and an ice alert function to keep you informed about changing weather conditions.

4. Installation

4.1 Installation de la batterie

  1. Unité d'affichage principale : Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit. Insert 2 AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover.
  2. Capteur extérieur sans fil : Open the battery compartment cover. Insert 2 AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).

4.2 Setting Measurement Units (Celsius/Fahrenheit)

After installing batteries in the main unit, locate the small hole labeled 'C/F' inside the battery compartment. Use a paperclip or toothpick to press this button to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) display units.

4.3 Appairage et placement des capteurs

  1. Sélection du canal du capteur : Before closing the outdoor sensor's battery cover, ensure the channel switch (usually labeled 1, 2, or 3) is set to your desired channel (default is typically 1).
  2. Réinitialisation du capteur : Press the RESET button inside the outdoor sensor's battery compartment with a paperclip or toothpick. This should be done every time batteries are changed.
  3. Main Unit Pairing: The main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. The outdoor temperature and humidity should appear on the display. If not, use the arrow keys on the main unit to select the correct channel (matching the sensor's setting). If still no reading, press the Flèche vers le haut et MODE buttons simultaneously on the main unit to initiate a manual scan for the sensor signal.
  4. Emplacement du capteur : Place the wireless outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct sunlight and rain, to ensure accurate readings. Ensure it is within the 150-foot transmission range of the main unit.
