2. Principales caractéristiques

3. Installation
3.1. Contenu du colis

3.2. Installation de la batterie
The timer uses one CR2032 lithium battery. A battery is included for initial monitoring purposes. For long-term use, it is recommended to replace it with a new battery.
- Repérez le compartiment à piles à l'arrière du minuteur.
- Utilisez une pièce de monnaie ou un outil plat pour tourner le couvercle de la batterie dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre afin de l'ouvrir.
- Insérez la pile CR2032 avec le côté positif (+) orienté vers le haut.
- Remettez le couvercle de la batterie en place et tournez-le dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre pour le fixer.

3.3. Mise sous tension initiale
Once the battery is correctly installed, the timer will automatically power on and display '00:00'.

4.1. Fonctions des boutons

4.2. Setting a Countdown Timer
- Ensure the timer display is '00:00'. If not, press the Arrêt bouton pour réinitialiser.
- Utilisez le 1分, 10秒, et 10分 buttons to set your desired countdown time. The maximum setting is 99 minutes 50 seconds, and the minimum is 10 seconds.
- Appuyez sur le スタート/ポーズ bouton pour démarrer le compte à rebours.
- Pour mettre le compte à rebours en pause, appuyez sur スタート/ポーズ Appuyez de nouveau pour reprendre.
- When the timer reaches zero, the alarm will sound (buzzer for 5 or 30 seconds) and the red LED will blink for approximately 30 seconds.
- Appuyez sur le Arrêt button to silence the alarm and reset the timer to the last set time.
4.3. Using Multiple Timers (Sequential Operation)
The AD-5709TL can store and run up to 8 sequential timer settings. This is ideal for interval training or multi-step processes.
- Set the first timer duration using the 1分, 10秒, et 10分 boutons.
- Appuyez sur le メモリ button to save this setting as Step 1. The display will show '00:00' or the next step number.
- Repeat the process to set and save up to 8 steps. Each time you press メモリ, it saves the current setting and moves to the next step number.
- Once all steps are set, press スタート/ポーズ to begin the sequence. The timer will count down each step consecutively.
- The alarm will sound after each step completes, and the timer will automatically proceed to the next step.

4.4. Fonction de répétition
After setting your sequential timers (or a single timer), you can set the number of times the sequence should repeat.
- After setting your timer steps (as described in 4.3), press the メモリ button repeatedly until the display shows the repeat count setting (e.g., 'RPT 001').
- Utilisez le 1分, 10秒, et 10分 buttons to adjust the repeat count from 1 to 999.
- To set for permanent (infinite) repeat, continue pressing the buttons until 'RPT INF' or similar is displayed.
- Presse スタート/ポーズ to start the repeating timer sequence.
4.5. Count-up Function
To use the count-up function:
- Ensure the timer display is '00:00'.
- Appuyez sur le スタート/ポーズ button. The timer will immediately start counting up from 00 minutes 00 seconds.
- Presse スタート/ポーズ again to pause the count-up.
- Appuyez sur le Arrêt button to stop the count-up and reset the display to '00:00'.
5. Entretien
5.1. Nettoyage
To clean the timer, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water beyond its IPX7 rating. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed before cleaning with moisture.

When the display becomes dim or the timer functions erratically, it's time to replace the battery. Follow the steps in Section 3.2 for battery installation. Always use a new CR2032 lithium battery.
5.3. Stockage
Store the timer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent leakage.
