1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Brecknell LPS400 Portable Shipping Scale. 4. Installation

1. Déballer la balance : Retirez soigneusement tous les composants de l'emballage. Conservez l'emballage pour un stockage ou un transport ultérieur.
2. Installer les piles : Open the battery compartment on the underside of the display unit. Insert the 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
3. Connecter l'unité d'affichage : Plug the coiled cable from the weighing platform into the corresponding port on the remote display unit. Ensure a secure connection.
4. Positionnez la balance : Place the weighing platform on a firm, flat, and stable surface. Ensure there are no obstructions around the platform that could interfere with weighing. The remote display unit can be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall for convenience.
5. Mise sous tension : Appuyez sur le MARCHE/ARRÊT button on the display unit. The display will illuminate and perform a self-test, then show "0.00" or "0.0" indicating it is ready for use.

5. Mode d'emploi

5.1. Marche/Arrêt

• Pour allumer la balance, appuyez sur le MARCHE/ARRÊT bouton.
• Pour éteindre la balance, appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale also features an automatic shutdown function to conserve battery power.

5.2. Weighing an Item

1. Ensure the scale is powered on and displays "0.00" or "0.0". If not, press the ZÉRO bouton pour le réinitialiser.
2. Carefully place the item to be weighed in the center of the weighing platform.
3. Wait for the display to stabilize. The weight will be shown on the LCD screen.
4. Remove the item from the platform. The display should return to zero.

5.3. Changement d'unités de poids

The scale can display weight in pounds (lb), kilograms (kg), or pounds/ounces (lb/oz).

• Appuyez sur le UNITÉS button to cycle through the available weight units. The selected unit will be indicated on the display.

5.4. Fonction Tare

5.5. Fonction de maintien

The Hold function allows you to lock the displayed weight even after the item is removed from the platform.

• While an item is on the platform and the weight is stable, press the PRISE bouton. Le poids sera verrouillé sur l'écran.

6. Entretien

6.1. Nettoyage

• N’utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs, de solvants ou de produits chimiques agressifs, car ils peuvent endommager la finition ou les composants électroniques.
• S'assurer que la balance est parfaitement sèche avant de la ranger ou de l'utiliser à nouveau.

• When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace the 4 AAA batteries promptly.
