5. Installation

1. Déballage: Retirez délicatement la balance de son emballage. Conservez l'emballage pour tout transport ou stockage ultérieur.
2. Placement: Placez la balance sur une surface ferme, plane et stable, à l'abri des vibrations, des courants d'air et des sources de chaleur directe.
3. Connexion électrique :
   • If using the AC adapter, plug the adapter into the scale's power input and then into a suitable electrical outlet.
   • If using batteries (not specified if included, assume option), open the battery compartment, insert the correct type and number of batteries, observing polarity.
4. Mise sous tension initiale : Appuyez sur le MARCHE/ARRÊT button to turn on the scale. The display will perform a self-test and then show "0.0".

6. Mode d'emploi

6.1 Pesage de base

1. Ensure the scale is powered on and displays "0.0".
2. Gently place the item to be weighed onto the center of the weighing platform.

6.2 Changement d'unités de pesage

1. Une fois la balance allumée, appuyez sur ZERO/UNIT bouton.
2. The display will cycle through available units (e.g., lb, kg). Release the button when your desired unit is shown.

6.3 Fonction de tare

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container so that only the weight of its contents is measured.

1. Place an empty container on the weighing platform. The scale will display its weight.

3. Add the items to be weighed into the container. The display will now show only the net weight of the items.
4. To clear the tare, remove the container from the platform. The scale will display a negative value. Press FORT again to return to "0.0".

6.4 Fonction de maintien

The Hold function allows you to freeze the displayed weight, which is useful for weighing large or irregularly shaped items that might obscure the display.
