1. Introduction

4. Installation

4.1 Installation de la batterie

1. Repérez le compartiment à piles à l'arrière du tuner.
2. Faites glisser le couvercle du compartiment à piles pour l'ouvrir.
3. Insérez deux (2) piles AAA, en veillant à respecter la polarité positive (+) et négative (-) comme indiqué à l'intérieur du compartiment.
4. Fermez soigneusement le couvercle du compartiment à piles.

4.2 Mise sous/hors tension

• To turn the tuner ON, press the MARCHE/ARRÊT bouton. L'écran s'illuminera.
• To turn the tuner OFF, press and hold the MARCHE/ARRÊT pendant environ 2 secondes.

5. Mode d'emploi

5.1 Modes de réglage

The WST-500A offers three primary tuning modes:

• Mode automatique : The tuner automatically detects the note being played. This is the default mode.
• Mode manuel : Allows you to manually select the target note for tuning.
• Mode sonore: The tuner plays a reference tone for you to tune by ear.

5.2 Chromatic Tuning (Automatic Mode)

1. Turn on the tuner. It will typically start in Automatic Chromatic mode.
2. Play a single note on your instrument. Hold the note steadily.
3. The tuner's display will show the detected note name.
4. Adjust your instrument until the needle on the display is centered and the indicator light turns green.
5. If the needle is to the left, the note is flat; tighten the string. If the needle is to the right, the note is sharp; loosen the string.

5.3 Instrument Presets (Guitar/Violin)

The tuner includes specific presets for Guitar and Violin, which can simplify tuning for these instruments.

1. Allumez le tuner.

Use Manual mode when you need to tune to a specific note or if the automatic detection is challenging.

• Clean the tuner with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
