This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new aeration system.

Instructions d'installation

1. Positionnez la pompe à air : Place the Superfish air pump unit in a dry, sheltered location near your pond. Ensure it is protected from rain, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. The pump should be placed above the water level to prevent water from siphoning back into the pump.
2. Raccordement du tuyau d'air : Uncoil the provided air tubing. Connect one end of the tubing to the outlet nozzle(s) on the air pump. If your pump has multiple outlets, you may need to use a Y-connector (not included) or connect separate tubes to each air stone.
3. Fixez les pierres à air : Connect the other end of the air tubing to the inlet of the air stones. Ensure a secure fit to prevent air leaks.
4. Place Air Stones in Pond: Carefully place the air stones into your pond. For optimal aeration, distribute them evenly or place them in areas where water circulation is desired. Ensure the tubing is not kinked.
5. Connexion à l'alimentation : Once all connections are secure and the pump is safely positioned, plug the power cord into a suitable outdoor-rated electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet has a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) for safety.

Opération

The Superfish Koi Flow Set is designed for continuous operation to maintain optimal oxygen levels in your pond. Once plugged in, the pump will run automatically.

• Continuous Aeration: For best results and consistent oxygenation, allow the pump to run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, especially during warmer months or if your pond has a high fish density.
• Surveillance: Periodically check the air stones to ensure a steady stream of bubbles is being produced. Reduced bubbling may indicate a clog or a kink in the tubing.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your Superfish Koi Flow Set.

• Pierres à air : Over time, air stones can become clogged with algae or mineral deposits, reducing air flow. Clean them regularly by scrubbing with a brush under running water. Replace them if they become severely clogged or damaged.
• Air Tubing: Inspect the air tubing for kinks, cracks, or blockages. Clean the inside of the tubing if necessary, or replace it if damaged.
• Pompe à air : Keep the exterior of the air pump clean and free from dust and debris. Ensure the air intake vents are not obstructed. Do not immerse the pump in water.
• Hivérisation: In freezing conditions, it is recommended to remove the air pump from outdoor use to prevent damage. Store it in a dry, frost-free location. Air stones can remain in the pond if they are below the ice line, but ensure the tubing is clear.
