Installation et première utilisation

  1. Déballer: Retirez soigneusement tous les composants de l'emballage.
  2. Laver: Wash the cooker body, lid, and all accessories with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Installation du joint : Insert the rubber gasket into the rim of the lid. Ensure it is seated correctly and evenly.
  4. Emplacement du poids de ventilation : Place the vent weight onto the steam vent pipe on the lid.
  5. Essai initial : For the first use, fill the cooker with 2 cups of water. Close the lid securely and place it on the stove over medium heat. Allow pressure to build and steam to release from the vent weight for 5-10 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally. This helps to clean the cooker and ensure all parts are functioning correctly.

The Hawkins B25 features a heavy-duty sandwich base for even heating and is compatible with gas, electric, and induction stovetops.

Mode d'emploi

  1. Ajouter des ingrédients : Place your food and the required amount of liquid into the cooker. Do not overfill (refer to safety guidelines).
  2. Fermer le couvercle : Place the lid on the cooker body, aligning the lid handle with the body handle. Rotate the lid clockwise until it locks securely. The inner lid design ensures a tight seal.
  3. Appliquer de la chaleur : Place the cooker on your stovetop over medium to high heat.
  4. Accumulation de pression : Steam will begin to escape from the vent pipe. Once a steady stream of steam is visible, place the vent weight on the vent pipe. Pressure will then build inside the cooker.
  5. Temps de cuisson : Reduce heat to maintain a steady pressure (the vent weight will jiggle gently). Cook for the time specified in your recipe.
  6. Libération de pression : Once cooking is complete, turn off the heat.
    • Libération naturelle : Allow the cooker to cool down naturally until all pressure is released. The lid will then open easily. This method is ideal for foods that benefit from continued cooking.
    • Quick Release (Caution): For faster pressure release, carefully lift the vent weight using a fork or utensil to allow steam to escape. Keep hands and face away from the steam. Once all steam has escaped, the lid can be opened.
  7. Couvercle ouvert : Once pressure is fully released, rotate the lid counter-clockwise and lift it off.
