- Lisez attentivement toutes les instructions avant d'utiliser l'autocuiseur.
- Do not fill the cooker more than two-thirds full with food, and no more than half full for foods that expand (e.g., rice, dried vegetables).
- Ensure the lid is properly closed and locked before applying heat. Never force the lid open while the cooker is under pressure.
- Always check the vent weight and safety valve for blockages before each use.
- Do not immerse the hot pressure cooker in cold water to cool it down, as this can damage the base. Allow it to cool naturally or use a controlled release method.
- Keep children and pets away from the pressure cooker during use.
- Faites preuve de prudence lors du relâchementasing steam; keep hands and face clear of the steam vent.
- If the safety valve activates, replace it before further use.

Installation et première utilisation
- Déballer: Retirez soigneusement tous les composants de l'emballage.
- Laver: Wash the cooker body, lid, and all accessories with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Installation du joint : Insert the rubber gasket into the rim of the lid. Ensure it is seated correctly and evenly.
- Emplacement du poids de ventilation : Place the vent weight onto the steam vent pipe on the lid.
- Essai initial : For the first use, fill the cooker with 2 cups of water. Close the lid securely and place it on the stove over medium heat. Allow pressure to build and steam to release from the vent weight for 5-10 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally. This helps to clean the cooker and ensure all parts are functioning correctly.
The Hawkins B25 features a heavy-duty sandwich base for even heating and is compatible with gas, electric, and induction stovetops.

Mode d'emploi
- Ajouter des ingrédients : Place your food and the required amount of liquid into the cooker. Do not overfill (refer to safety guidelines).
- Fermer le couvercle : Place the lid on the cooker body, aligning the lid handle with the body handle. Rotate the lid clockwise until it locks securely. The inner lid design ensures a tight seal.
- Appliquer de la chaleur : Place the cooker on your stovetop over medium to high heat.
- Accumulation de pression : Steam will begin to escape from the vent pipe. Once a steady stream of steam is visible, place the vent weight on the vent pipe. Pressure will then build inside the cooker.
- Temps de cuisson : Reduce heat to maintain a steady pressure (the vent weight will jiggle gently). Cook for the time specified in your recipe.
- Libération de pression : Once cooking is complete, turn off the heat.
- Libération naturelle : Allow the cooker to cool down naturally until all pressure is released. The lid will then open easily. This method is ideal for foods that benefit from continued cooking.
- Quick Release (Caution): For faster pressure release, carefully lift the vent weight using a fork or utensil to allow steam to escape. Keep hands and face away from the steam. Once all steam has escaped, the lid can be opened.
- Couvercle ouvert : Once pressure is fully released, rotate the lid counter-clockwise and lift it off.

Entretien et nettoyage
- Nettoyage quotidien : After each use, wash the cooker body, lid, gasket, and vent weight with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely to prevent water spots and corrosion.
- Entretien des joints : Inspect the rubber gasket regularly for cracks, hardening, or damage. Replace the gasket if it shows signs of wear to ensure a proper seal.
- Nettoyage des conduits de ventilation : Ensure the vent pipe on the lid is clear of any food particles. Use a small brush or pipe cleaner if necessary.
- Soupape de sécurité: Check the safety valve for any blockages or damage. If the safety valve has activated (melted), it must be replaced immediately.
- Sécurité du lave-vaisselle : Cette cocotte-minute est pas dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended to preserve its finish and functionality.
- Stockage: Store the pressure cooker with the lid inverted on the body to allow air circulation and prevent odors.
