Caractéristiques principales
- Up to 4 seconds of delay time, allowing for long, evolving echoes.
- Seven distinct delay types, including standard digital delays, tape echo simulation, modulated delay, reverse delay, and a loop function.
- Tap Tempo functionality for precise synchronization of delay time with musical rhythm.
- Stereo outputs with switchable CIT™ Cabinet Modeling, providing enhanced sound shaping for direct recording or stereo ampconfigurations de lification.
- Durable metal chassis designed for road-worthy performance.
Commandes et connexions
The DigiDelay pedal features intuitive controls and standard audio connections for easy integration into any guitar rig.

Boutons de contrôle :
- NIVEAU: Adjusts the output level of the delayed signal. Turn clockwise to increase the delay volume.
- RÉPÉTITIONS : Controls the number of delay repetitions (feedback). From a single echo to infinite repeats.
- TEMPS: Sets the delay time, from very short slap-back echoes to long, ambient delays.
- MODE: Selects one of the seven available delay types:
- 1-10-250 MS: Short delay times, ideal for slap-back and subtle echoes.
- 2-250-1 SEC: Medium delay times, suitable for rhythmic delays.
- 3-1-4 SEC: Long delay times, for atmospheric and ambient effects.
- 4-TAPE: Simulates the warm, decaying sound of vintage tape echo units.
- 5-MOD DELAY: Adds modulation (chorus/flange) to the delayed signal for swirling effects.
- 6-REVERSE: Plays the delayed signal backward, creating unique soundscapes.
- 7-LOOP: Enables a short looping function for creating sound-on-sound layers.
Cric:
- DANS: 1/4-inch input jack for connecting your guitar or other instrument.
- OUT 1 (MONO): 1/4-inch output jack for mono signal. Connect to your ampAmplificateur ou pédale suivante dans la chaîne.
- SORTIE 2 : 1/4-inch output jack for stereo signal. Use with OUT 1 for stereo effects or with a second amplifier.
- Entrée 9 V CC : For connecting an optional 9V DC power adapter (center negative).
Pédale de commande :
- Engages or bypasses the effect. Also used for Tap Tempo functionality (refer to Operation section).
Installation
- Alimenter la pédale :
- The DigiDelay pedal can be powered by a single 9V battery (included) or an optional 9V DC power adapter (center negative).
- To install a battery, unscrew the four screws on the bottom plate and carefully remove it. Insert a 9V battery into the clip and replace the plate.
- If using a power adapter, connect it to the 9V DC input jack.
- Connecting to Your Rig:
- Connectez votre guitare au IN jack of the DigiDelay pedal using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
- Pour un fonctionnement mono, connectez le SORTIE 1 (MONO) prise à votre ampl'entrée de l'amplificateur ou la pédale suivante dans votre chaîne de signal.
- For stereo operation, connect SORTIE 1 (MONO) à un amplifier (or channel) and SORTIE 2 to a second amplifier (or channel).
- Paramètres initiaux :
- Avant d'allumer votre amplifier, set the LEVEL, REPEATS, and TIME knobs to their minimum positions (fully counter-clockwise).
- Select your desired MODE.
- Allumez votre amplifier and then gradually adjust the pedal's controls to achieve your desired sound.
Opération
Operating the DigiDelay pedal involves selecting the delay type and adjusting the parameters to shape your sound.
Engager l'effet :
Press the footswitch once to engage the delay effect. The LED indicator will illuminate. Press it again to bypass the effect; the LED will turn off.
Adjusting Delay Parameters:
- NIVEAU: Start with the LEVEL knob at a low setting and gradually increase it until the delayed signal blends well with your dry signal. Avoid setting it too high, which can lead to unwanted volume boosts or feedback.
- RÉPÉTITIONS : Experiment with the REPEATS knob to control the decay of the echoes. Lower settings produce fewer repeats, while higher settings create longer, more sustained echoes. At maximum, the pedal can self-oscillate, creating infinite feedback.
- TEMPS: Rotate the TIME knob to set the duration between repeats. This knob works in conjunction with the selected MODE to determine the overall delay range.
- MODE: Turn the MODE knob to select from the seven distinct delay algorithms. Each mode offers a unique character and range of delay times. Refer to the "Controls and Connections" section for a description of each mode.
Tap Tempo:
The Tap Tempo feature allows you to set the delay time by tapping the footswitch. To use Tap Tempo:
- Assurez-vous que la pédale est actionnée (LED allumée).
- Tap the footswitch two or more times in rhythm with the desired tempo. The pedal will calculate the delay time based on your taps.
- The Tap Tempo feature is active in most delay modes, providing precise synchronization for live performance.
Entretien
- Remplacement de la batterie : When the LED indicator dims or the pedal's performance degrades, it's time to replace the 9V battery. Always use a fresh alkaline battery for optimal performance.
- Nettoyage: Clean the pedal's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
- Stockage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the battery to prevent leakage. Store the pedal in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Relations: Periodically check all cable connections for tightness and ensure cables are not frayed or damaged.
