1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient use of your InFocus LP120 Mobile DLP Video Projector. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the projector and retain it for future reference.
The InFocus LP120 is a compact and powerful mobile projector designed for business presentations. Its lightweight design allows for easy portability, fitting conveniently alongside your laptop. Key features include a 7-language interactive display, XGA 1024x768 native resolution, optical zoom, simple focus, dual infrared sensors, and support for front and rear projection methods. It can project image sizes from 33 to 143 inches diagonally, offers a one-touch simplified keypad, 1100 lumens brightness, a 1-watt speaker, and color-coded connections for ease of use.
2. Consignes de sécurité
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent damage to the projector and ensure user safety:
- Ne pas obstruer les ouvertures de ventilation. Assurer une circulation d'air suffisante autour du projecteur.
- Ne regardez pas directement l'objectif du projecteur lorsque le lamp est allumée. La lumière vive peut endommager vos yeux.

4.1 Commandes du panneau supérieur

4.3 Côté View et ventilation
The side of the projector features ventilation grilles to ensure proper cooling during operation.

The front of the projector houses the projection lens and additional ventilation.

5. Installation
5.1 Connexion à un ordinateur
- Connect the M1-A analog computer cable with USB to the 'computer in' port on the projector (refer to Figure 4.2).
- Connect the other end of the M1-A cable to your computer's VGA port and a USB port.
- For audio, connect the audio cable from your computer's audio output to the 'audio in' port on the projector.
5.2 Connecting to a Video Source (S-Video/RCA)
- For S-Video, connect the S-video cable to the 's-video' port on the projector (refer to Figure 4.2) and to your video source.
- For RCA composite video, use the S-video-to-RCA video input adapter with the S-video cable. Connect the RCA end to your video source.
- Connect the audio cable from your video source to the 'audio in' port on the projector.
5.3 Connexion d'alimentation
- Connect the power cord to the power input on the rear of the projector (refer to Figure 4.2).

5.4 Positionnement du projecteur
Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the projector for ventilation. The projector can project images from 4.5 to 14 feet away, producing a diagonal image size between 33 and 143 inches.
6. Mode d'emploi
6.1 Mise sous/hors tension
- Pour allumer, appuyez sur la Pouvoir bouton sur le panneau supérieur ou la télécommande.
- Pour éteindre, appuyez sur le Pouvoir button again. The projector will go through a cool-down cycle before completely shutting down. Do not unplug the projector during this cycle.
6.2 Réglage de l'image
- Se concentrer: Rotate the focus ring on the lens to sharpen the image.
- Zoom: Use the optical zoom control (if available on the lens) or the digital zoom function via the menu to adjust image size.
- Correction trapézoïdale : Utilisez le Clé de voûte buttons on the top panel or remote to correct trapezoidal distortion if the projector is not perfectly perpendicular to the screen.
- Image automatique : Appuyez sur le Image automatique button for automatic image optimization.
6.3 Sélection de la source d'entrée
Appuyez sur le Source button on the top panel or remote control to cycle through available input sources (Computer, S-Video, etc.).
6.4 Réglage audio
Utilisez le Augmenter le volume et Baisser le volume buttons on the top panel or remote control to adjust the audio output from the built-in 1-watt speaker.
7. Entretien
7.1 Nettoyage du projecteur
- Extérieur: Utilisez un chiffon doux et non pelucheux légèrement dampened with water to clean the projector's exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Lentille: Use a lens cleaning cloth and lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optical surfaces. Do not use abrasive materials.
- Ventilation: Periodically check and clean the ventilation grilles to ensure unobstructed airflow. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust.
7.2 Lamp Remplacement
La projection lamp module is a consumable item and will require replacement over time. Refer to the ProjectorManager control software or the on-screen menu for lamp life status. Always use an official InFocus replacement lamp module. Consult the detailed user's guide on the provided CD for specific lamp consignes de remplacement.
Avertissement: Allow the projector to cool down completely before attempting to replace the lamp. Le lamp can be extremely hot.
