1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation, setup, and maintenance of your CONENTOOL TIG-200 220V TIG MMA 2-in-1 Welding Machine. The TIG-200 is a versatile welding machine capable of both TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and MMA (Manual Metal Arc) / Stick welding, making it suitable for a range of applications from home DIY projects to auto repair and metal crafting.

4.1. Panneau avant

6. Instructions de configuration

Before beginning any welding operation, ensure the machine is placed on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials.

6.1. Connexion électrique

  • Ensure the welding machine's power switch is in the "OFF" position.
  • Connect the power cord to a suitable 220V AC power outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and can handle the machine's power requirements.

6.2. Welding Cable Connections

The TIG-200 supports both TIG and MMA welding. Connect the cables according to the desired welding process.

6.2.1. For MMA (Stick) Welding

  • Connect the electrode holder cable to the "Electrode holder interface" on the front panel.
  • Connectez la borne de terreamp cable to the "Ground clamp interface" on the front panel.

6.2.2. For TIG Welding

  • Connect the TIG welding gun cable to the "TIG welding gun interface" on the front panel.
  • Connectez la borne de terreamp cable to the "Ground clamp interface" on the front panel.
  • Attachez le sol clamp solidement fixé à la pièce à usiner.
  • Connect your shielding gas cylinder (e.g., Argon) to the "GAS" inlet on the back panel of the machine using a gas hose and regulator. Ensure all gas connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  • Install the correct size tungsten electrode into the TIG torch and secure it with the chuck and long hat. Attach the ceramic nozzle (ceramic set) to the torch head.

7. Mode d'emploi

Once the machine is set up, you can begin welding. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including a welding helmet, gloves, and protective clothing.

7.1. Mise sous tension et sélection du mode

  • Turn the main power switch on the back panel to the "ON" position.
  • The digital panel on the front will illuminate.
  • Use the TIG/MMA mode selection buttons to choose your desired welding process.

7.2. Réglage des paramètres de soudage

  • Courant de soudage: Use the "Current Adjustment Knob" to set the desired amperage. Refer to welding charts or practice on scrap material to find the optimal current for your specific material thickness and electrode/tungsten size.
  • TIG Post-Flow (for TIG welding): Adjust the "Post Hooua Knob" to set the gas post-flow time. This protects the hot weld puddle and tungsten electrode from atmospheric contamination after the arc is extinguished. A general rule is 1 second of post-flow per 10 amps de courant de soudage.

7.3.1. Soudage MMA (à l'aide d'un bâtonnet)

  • Amorcer l'arc en touchant légèrement la pièce à usiner avec l'électrode, puis en la soulevant rapidement et légèrement pour établir l'arc.
  • Maintenez une longueur d'arc et une vitesse de déplacement constantes pour créer un cordon de soudure uniforme.
  • The "Anti Stick" feature helps prevent the electrode from sticking to the workpiece, while "Hot Start" assists in easier arc ignition. "Arc Force" helps maintain a stable arc.

7.3.2. Soudage TIG

  • Ensure gas flow is established.
  • Initiate the arc (typically by high-frequency start, which is implied by "High frequency spot welding" feature).
  • Maintain a short arc length between the tungsten and the workpiece.
  • Feed filler rod into the weld puddle as needed.
  • The "Two-way gas saving" feature helps optimize gas consumption.

8. Entretien

Un entretien régulier garantit la longévité et les performances optimales de votre machine à souder.

  • Nettoyage: Periodically clean the machine's exterior with a dry cloth. Use compressed air to blow out dust and debris from the air inlets and cooling fan on the back panel. Ensure the machine is unplugged before cleaning.
  • Inspection des câbles : Regularly inspect all welding cables, electrode holder, ground clamp, and TIG torch for signs of wear, cuts, or damage. Replace damaged components immediately.
