1. Introduction

The MAONO PD200W is a versatile hybrid wireless podcast microphone designed for high-quality vocal recording, streaming, and content creation. 3. Guide de configuration

3.1 Configuration physique

  1. Montage du microphone :
    • Attach the PD200W microphone to the included desktop stand or a compatible boom arm (sold separately) using the shock mount.
  2. Positionnement :
    • For optimal sound, position the microphone within 2-6 inches (5-15 cm) from your mouth.

3.2 Options de connectivité

The PD200W offers three primary connection methods:

3.2.1 Connexion sans fil (2.4 GHz)

  1. Insert the Type-C receiver into your phone, tablet, or camera (camera receiver sold separately).
  2. Ensure the microphone is powered on. The microphone and receiver will automatically pair.
  3. For camera use, ensure you have the appropriate camera receiver (sold separately).

3.2.2 Connexion USB-C

  1. Connect the USB-C end of the provided cable to the microphone's USB-C port.
  2. Connect the other end (USB-A or USB-C, using the adapter if necessary) to your computer, laptop, phone, or tablet.
  3. The device should automatically recognize the microphone.

Connexion XLR 3.2.3

  1. Connectez un câble XLR standard (non fourni) au port XLR du microphone.
  2. Connect the other end of the XLR cable to an audio interface or mixer.
  3. Ensure your audio interface/mixer provides phantom power if required by your setup (PD200W is a dynamic mic and does not require phantom power, but some interfaces might default to it).

4. Mode d'emploi

4.1 Commandes embarquées

The PD200W features intuitive controls directly on the microphone body:

  • One-Tap Mute Button: Press to instantly mute/unmute the microphone. The RGB lighting will change to indicate mute status (e.g., red for muted).
  • Headphone Volume & Gain Knob: Rotate to adjust the microphone gain and headphone monitoring volume.
  • RGB Color Shift On/Off Button: Press to cycle through RGB lighting modes or turn the lighting off.

4.2 MaonoLink App

For advanced control and sound customization, download the MaonoLink app for Mac/PC or Android. The app allows you to:

  • Access 4 master-tuned preset modes.
  • Adjust key parameters like EQ and reverb.
  • Utilize three levels of noise cancellation (Slight, Moderate, Aggressive) to minimize background noise.
  • Fine-tune microphone gain and headphone volume.

4.3 Surveillance et enregistrement

  • Surveillance sans latence : Plug headphones into the 3.5mm jack on the microphone for real-time audio monitoring.
  • Separate Tracks Recording: When using two PD200W microphones with a single receiver for duo podcasts, each microphone's audio is recorded to its own track, allowing for precise editing.
  • Diffusion en continu multiplateforme : Stream, record, and connect to camera, phone, and laptop simultaneously via wireless, USB, and XLR connections.

5. Entretien

  • Nettoyage: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the microphone body. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
