Metal grease filters should be washed approximately every 30 hours of operation. They can be cleaned by hand with detergent and hot water or placed in a dishwasher. Ensure they are dry before reinstalling.
If all speed LEDs light up or flash when the hood is off, it indicates a filter maintenance alert. Typically, a steady light after 30 hours means grease filters need cleaning, and a flashing light after 120 hours means charcoal filters need replacement (for filtering mode).
To reset the filter alarm, press and hold the specific command button (often the '+' or 'T3' button, depending on the model) while the motor is switched off until the LEDs turn off.
