Do not use grease or oil in the guide tracks or on Nylofelt running strips, as this attracts dust and clogs the mechanism. You can clean the guides with a cloth dampened with mineral turpentine or methylated spirits, followed by a silicone spray (do not use oil-based sprays like WD-40).
