Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your BBLOVE Digital Thermometer, Model AET-F372. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device and keep it for future reference. This thermometer is designed for accurate temperature measurement in adults and children.

Installation

1. Charge initiale

Before first use, ensure the thermometer is fully charged. Place the thermometer into its magnetic charging case. The case will provide power to the thermometer. A full charge typically takes a few hours. The LED display on the thermometer will indicate charging status.

2. Mise sous/hors tension

The thermometer powers on automatically when removed from the charging case. To power off, place it back into the charging case. The device also features an automatic shutdown function after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.

1. Préparation de la mesure

• Ensure the thermometer probe is clean and disinfected before each use. Refer to the "Maintenance" section for cleaning instructions.
• Remove the thermometer from its charging case. It will automatically power on and display the last measured temperature.
• To reset the temperature data for a new measurement, gently shake the thermometer or place it back into the charging case briefly and then remove it again.

2. Prise de température

The BBLOVE Digital Thermometer is suitable for oral, rectal, and axillary (underarm) temperature measurements. For the most accurate results, it is recommended to continue measuring for 3-5 minutes.

• Utilisation orale: Place the probe tip under the tongue, as close to the heat pocket as possible. Close your mouth and hold the thermometer in place.
• Usage rectal: Apply a water-soluble lubricant to the probe tip. Gently insert the tip no more than 1/2 inch into the rectum. This method is generally recommended for infants and young children for accuracy.
• Utilisation axillaire (aisselle) : Place the probe tip in the armpit, ensuring good skin contact. Hold the arm firmly against the body. This method is less accurate than oral or rectal measurements.

The thermometer will provide a fast reading. For medical-grade accuracy, continue holding the thermometer in place for 3-5 minutes until the reading stabilizes. A vibration alert will signal when a stable reading is achieved.

3. Lecture de l'affichage

The large LED display shows the temperature reading.

• "Lo" is displayed when the measured temperature is below 89.6°F (32°C).
• "Hi" is displayed when the measured temperature is above 109.4°F (43°C).

4. Fonction de mémoire

Upon powering on, the thermometer automatically displays the last measured temperature. This allows for easy tracking of temperature changes over time.

1. Nettoyage et désinfection

The thermometer is designed with an IP65 water discharge level, making it easy to clean.

• After each use, clean the probe tip with soap and warm water or wipe it with an alcohol swab (70% isopropyl alcohol).
• You can rinse the probe directly under a faucet.
• Important: Do not immerse the entire thermometer in water for a long time. Only the probe area is designed for direct rinsing.

2. Stockage
