1. Introduction

The ProtoArc T1 Plus is a large, high-precision wireless Bluetooth trackpad designed for enhanced navigation and multi-gesture control on Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.

2.1 Composants physiques

  • Surface tactile : The primary area for gesture control and cursor movement.
  • Left/Right Physical Buttons: Located at the bottom of the trackpad for traditional click functions.

3. Installation et connexion

3.1 Charging the Trackpad

The T1 Plus trackpad features a rechargeable 500mAh lithium battery. Use the included Type-C cable to charge the device. A full charge takes approximately 1-2 hours and provides up to 50 hours of use.

  1. Connect the Type-C end of the charging cable to the trackpad's charging port.

3.2 Bluetooth Connection (Windows 10/11)

The trackpad connects exclusively via Bluetooth. Ensure your Windows 10/11 device has Bluetooth connectivity enabled.

  1. Turn on the trackpad using the MARCHE/ARRÊT changer.
  2. Appuyez sur le Connecter button on the side of the trackpad. One of the Bluetooth channel indicator lights (1, 2, or 3) will start blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. On your Windows 10/11 computer, go to ParamètresBluetooth et autres appareils.
  4. Cliquez Ajouter un Bluetooth ou un autre appareil, puis sélectionnez Bluetooth.
  5. Sélectionnez « ProtoArc T1 Plus » dans la liste des appareils disponibles.
  6. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The indicator light on the trackpad will become solid when connected.

3.3 Connexion multi-appareils

The T1 Plus can connect to up to three different devices simultaneously. Use the mode switch button (corresponding to indicators 1, 2, 3) to switch between paired devices.

  1. To pair with a second or third device, press the Connecter button until a different channel indicator (e.g., 2 or 3) blinks.
  2. Repeat the Bluetooth pairing steps (3-6) from section 3.2 for the new device.
  3. To switch between devices, simply press the Connecter button to cycle through the paired channels (1, 2, 3). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.

4. Operation & Gestures

The T1 Plus trackpad supports a variety of multi-touch gestures for intuitive navigation. The large, ultra-smooth surface provides a comfortable user experience.

4.1 Gestes de base

  • Tap to Click: Single-finger tap for left-click.
  • Clic secondaire (clic droit) : Two-finger tap.
  • Traîne: Double-click with one finger and hold, then drag.
  • Rouleau: Slide two fingers up or down.

4.2 Multi-Finger Gestures (Windows 10/11)

  • Three-finger Tap: By default, opens the taskbar search box.
  • Three-finger Slide (Left/Right): Slides between previous/next mission (desktop).

  • Four-finger Click: Activates operation (Windows 10/11).
  • Four-finger Swipe: Changes between virtual desktops.

4.3 Adjusting Cursor Speed

You can customize the cursor speed to your preference through Windows settings.

  1. Ouvrir Paramètres Windows.

4.4 Touch-Sensitive Area

Please note that only the designated area on the trackpad is touch-sensitive. Touching outside this region will not produce a response.

5. Dépannage

5.1 Trackpad Unresponsive After Keyboard Use

If the trackpad becomes unresponsive briefly after pressing a keyboard key, you may need to adjust the touchpad sensitivity setting in Windows.

  • Re-pair the trackpad with your device if connection issues persist.

5.3 General Compatibility Notes

  • The T1 Plus is a wireless Bluetooth trackpad only; it does not support wired mode. The Type-C cable is for charging only.
  • Some touchpad gestures or functions may be missing or behave unexpectedly if used with unsupported operating systems.
