Configuration et installation

   For continuous operation and increased signal intensity (up to 20% stronger), an optional AC power adapter can be used. Connect the adapter to the designated port on the device. The adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.

• Hauteur: Position the Catfree at cat height. This typically means placing it in the area where cats usually move.
• Zone de détection : The device detects movement within a 100° arc up to 10 meters in front of it, and also detects objects 10° below its horizontal line.

  • Installation au sol : Use the provided stake to plant the device firmly into the ground, such as in a flower bed or pot.
  • Montage mural : The device can also be fixed to a wall using the mounting slot on the back (refer to Image 2).

Mode d'emploi

1. Activation : Once the battery is installed or the power adapter is connected, the device is active. There is no separate ON/OFF switch.

3. Ultrasonic Emission: When a cat enters the detection zone, the motion sensor triggers the device to emit a burst of ultrasonic sound (20-24 kHz). This sound is designed to be unpleasant for cats, encouraging them to leave the area.
4. Inaudible to Humans: The ultrasonic frequency is typically beyond the range of human hearing, making the device discreet in operation.
5. Indicateur LED : A small LED light on the device will illuminate when the 9V battery charge is low, indicating it's time for a replacement.

The Catfree operates automatically, providing continuous protection against feline intruders.

Entretien

• Remplacement de la batterie : Replace the 9V battery when the low battery LED indicator illuminates. Ensure the battery compartment is sealed tightly after replacement.
• Nettoyage: Periodically wipe the device, especially the motion sensor lens and speaker grille, with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, or debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Chemin de détection clair : Regularly check that the motion sensor's line of sight is not obstructed by growing plants, leaves, or other objects.
• Hivernage (facultatif) : While weatherproof, if you prefer to store the device during extreme winter conditions, remove the battery and store it in a dry place.
