3. Installation
- Insert the supplied AAA alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3.2. Placement de la sonde
The bottle probe is designed to buffer rapid temperature changes, providing a more stable and accurate reading of the stored contents. The 10-ft (3-m) micro-cable allows the probe to be placed inside the monitored environment while the main unit remains outside.
- Place the bottle probe inside the refrigerator, freezer, or other environment where temperature monitoring is required. Ensure the probe is positioned to accurately reflect the temperature of the items being stored.
- The micro-cable is thin enough to allow refrigerator or freezer doors to close without damaging the cable or compromising the seal.

3.3. Montage de l'unité principale
The main thermometer unit can be mounted in several ways:
- Hook-and-Loop Strips: Attach the adhesive-backed hook-and-loop strips to the back of the unit and a clean, flat surface (e.g., side of a refrigerator, wall).
- Bandes magnétiques : Use the magnetic strips for attachment to metallic surfaces.
- Wall-Mount Slots: Utilize the integrated slots on the back of the unit to hang it on screws or hooks.
- Flip-Open Stand: For benchtop use, extend the integrated stand on the back of the unit.

4. Mode d'emploi
4.1. Marche/Arrêt
The unit powers on automatically upon battery installation. There is no dedicated power button. To turn off, remove the battery.
4.2. Lecture des températures
The large LCD display shows three temperature readings simultaneously:
- Température actuelle : The real-time temperature measured by the probe.
4.3. Switching Temperature Units (°F/°C)
Appuyez sur le °F/°C button (if available, or a similar labeled button) to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature scales.
4.4. Viewing and Clearing Min/Max Memory
The thermometer automatically records the minimum and maximum temperatures reached since the last memory reset. These values are continuously displayed.
- To clear the MIN/MAX memory and begin a new recording cycle, press the CLAIR button. The display will show the current temperature for MIN and MAX until new minimum and maximum values are recorded.
4.5. Réglage des alarmes
The thermometer features programmable high and low temperature alarms. An alarm will sound when the temperature exceeds the high set point or falls below the low set point. The alarm continues to sound even if the temperature returns to the non-alarm range until acknowledged.
- Utilisez le UP et VERS LE BAS arrow buttons to adjust the desired high temperature alarm limit.
- Presse ENSEMBLE again to confirm the high limit and proceed to set the low temperature alarm limit.
- Utilisez le UP et VERS LE BAS arrow buttons to adjust the desired low temperature alarm limit.
- Presse ENSEMBLE a third time to exit alarm setting mode and save the settings.
- To enable or disable the alarm, press the ALARME ON / OFF button. An alarm icon will typically appear on the display when the alarm is active.
- To silence a sounding alarm, press any button. The alarm will reactivate if the temperature remains outside the set limits.
5. Entretien
5.1. Nettoyage
Regular cleaning helps maintain the accuracy and longevity of your thermometer.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the plastic casing ou affichage.
- Ensure the main unit does not get wet, as it is not waterproof. The probe is submersible.
5.2. Remplacement de la batterie
When the display becomes dim or the unit stops functioning, it is time to replace the battery. Refer to Section 3.1 for battery installation instructions.
5.3. Entretien de la sonde
The bottle probe is designed for durability. Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable, which could damage the internal wiring. The probe is freezer safe and can remain in the monitored environment continuously.
6. Dépannage
If your thermometer is not functioning as expected, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:
| Problème | Cause possible | Solution |
|---|---|---|
