5. Installation

5.1 Battery Installation and Initial Use

  1. Battery Isolation: Before first use, open the battery cover and remove the paper piece isolating the battery. This prevents battery discharge during shipping.
  2. Chargement : Connect the device to a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included) using the provided Type-C USB cable. The device has a 3.7V 4000mAh Li-ion battery. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours and provides up to 6 hours of normal working time.
  3. Marche/Arrêt : Press and hold the Power Button located on the top of the device to turn it on or off.

6.1 Test OTDR

The OTDR function is used to characterize optical fibers. It measures fiber length, loss, attenuation parameters, and generates an event map to locate link points and fusion points.
