1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Outsunny 3x3m Metal Garden Pergola. This pergola is designed to enhance your outdoor living space, providing adjustable shade and protection from UV rays. Its retractable canopy allows you to control sunlight exposure, while the robust metal frame ensures stability and durability. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use to ensure proper installation and safe operation.

2. Consignes de sécurité

• Assemblage à deux personnes : For safety and ease of installation, assembly of this pergola is recommended for two people.
• Conditions météorologiques : Always retract the canopy during strong winds, heavy rain, or storms to prevent damage to the pergola and to avoid water accumulation on the canopy.
• Installation stable : Ensure the pergola is securely anchored to the ground using the provided ground stakes or expansion bolts.

4. Instructions de montage

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. Refer to the diagrams for visual guidance. Two people are recommended for assembly.

1. Déballer et identifier les pièces : Carefully unpack all components and lay them out. Compare them with the package contents list and the diagrams in this manual to ensure all parts are present and undamaged.
2. Assemblez le cadre : Begin by connecting the main support beams and columns according to the provided diagrams. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten bolts until the entire frame is assembled. The frame features robust 6x6cm metal columns for stability.
3. Install Sliding Rails: Attach the aluminum sliding rails to the top frame structure. These rails are designed for smooth and quiet operation of the retractable canopy.

4. Fixer la verrière : Carefully attach the retractable canopy fabric to the sliding mechanism on the rails. Ensure it is correctly aligned and can slide freely. The canopy is made from 180g PA-coated polyester with UPF30+ protection.

5. Secure the Pergola to the Ground: Once the frame and canopy are assembled, position the pergola in its desired location. Use the appropriate anchoring method for your ground type:
   • For soft ground (e.g., lawn): Use the provided ground stakes.
   • For hard ground (e.g., concrete patio): Use the provided expansion bolts.
   Ensure all eight anchor points are securely fastened.

6. Serrage final : Once the pergola is securely anchored, go back and fully tighten all bolts and screws on the frame.

5. Mode d'emploi

The Outsunny pergola features an easy-to-use retractable canopy for flexible shade control.

• Réglage de la canopée : To adjust the shade, simply slide the canopy fabric along the aluminum rails. You can extend it fully for maximum shade or retract it partially or completely to allow more sunlight.
• Sécuriser la canopée : When the canopy is fully retracted or extended, magnetic fasteners are integrated to help keep it securely in position.
• Evacuation de l'eau : The canopy is designed with eyelet holes to facilitate water drainage and prevent accumulation, especially during light rain. However, always retract the canopy during heavy rainfall or storms.

6. Entretien

Un entretien régulier prolongera la durée de vie et préservera l'apparence de votre pergola.

• Nettoyage de la canopée : Clean the polyester canopy fabric periodically with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before retracting or storing. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

• Stockage saisonnier : In regions with harsh winters or prolonged periods of non-use, it is recommended to remove the canopy fabric and store it indoors to protect it from extreme weather conditions.
• Vérifier les connexions : Annually, or as needed, inspect all bolts, screws, and anchor points to ensure they are tight and secure.

7. Dépannage

• Canopy Not Sliding Smoothly: Check the aluminum rails for any obstructions or debris. Ensure the canopy fabric is correctly threaded through the sliding mechanism and not snagged.
