2. Remove the blade cover and the chain cover.
3. Carefully place the chain around the sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction.
4. Align the guide bar with the mounting pins on the saw head.
5. Replace the chain cover and secure it with the knob.
6. Adjust the chain tension using the orange dial. The chain should be snug but still able to move freely around the guide bar. A loose chain can derail, and an overly tight chain can cause excessive wear or damage.

3.2. Pole Assembly and Extension

The pole can be adjusted for length to suit various tasks.

1. Connect the saw head unit to the main pole section. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
2. To extend the pole, loosen the locking mechanism, pull the pole to the desired length, and then securely tighten the locking mechanism. The pole can be adjusted steplessly from approximately 162 cm to 305 cm.
3. Attach the shoulder belt to the designated attachment points on the pole for comfortable and balanced operation.

3.3. Installation et chargement de la batterie

1. Insert the 24V lithium-ion battery into the battery slot on the handle until it clicks into place.
2. To charge the battery, remove it from the tool. Connect the charger to a power outlet and then connect the battery to the charger. The battery features a remaining charge lamp to indicate its status.

4.3. Using as a Handheld Saw (if applicable)

The saw head can be detached from the pole and used as a handheld saw for lower branches or processing cut wood. Refer to the assembly section for detaching the head.
