Mars Hydro ADlite UV30 & IR15 LED Grow Light Instruction Manual

Model: ADLITE-UR3015

1. Produit terminéview

The Mars Hydro ADlite UV30 & IR15 LED Grow Light is designed to provide supplemental lighting for indoor plants, enhancing photosynthesis and promoting robust growth. This unit combines UV (Ultraviolet) and IR (Infrared) light spectrums to support various plant growth stages, from vegetative to flowering, improving plant resistance and overall yield.

The UV30 light enhances photosynthesis and stimulates the production of secondary metabolites like flavonoids and anthocyanins, improving plant resistance to pests and diseases while boosting nutritional quality. The IR15 light stimulates stem growth and flowering, while the UV ensures optimal nutrient absorption, helping your plants thrive and bloom faster. It also mimics sunrise and sunset, regulating plant growth and inducing flowering or dormancy, and creates a shade-avoidance response, accelerating stem growth.

2. Consignes de sécurité

  • Débranchez toujours l’alimentation avant l’installation ou la maintenance.
  • Do not look directly into the LED lights when they are operating, as this may cause eye damage.
  • Ensure proper ventilation in the growing area to prevent overheating.
  • Keep the light away from water or wet environments.
  • Ne tentez pas de démonter ou de modifier le luminaire. Confiez toute réparation à un personnel qualifié.
  • Durant la phase végétativetage, do not use UV and Blue light simultaneously, as it may slow down plant growth.
  • Use the light within the specified voltage gamme.

4. Configuration et installation

4.1 options de montage

The ADlite UV30 & IR15 offers two primary mounting methods: embedded mounting with brackets or hanging on the sides of your main grow light.

  • Embedded Mounting: The green brackets for the ADlite UV30 & IR15 are compatible with Mars Hydro FC4800 and FCE4800 models, providing a secure fit directly onto the main light fixture.
  • Suspended Use: For other main lights (recommended under 500W), the ADlite bars can be hung separately using the provided hanging ropes. This offers versatility for various grow tent setups.

4.2 Connexion

Connect the ADlite bars to a power source using the provided power cord. For optimal control and scheduling, consider integrating with a smart timer like the Mars Hydro iTime.

5. Mode d'emploi

The ADlite UV30 & IR15 lights are designed to supplement your main grow light. Proper timing and duration are crucial for maximizing their benefits.

5.1 Recommended Usage Times

Croissance StageUV Light (UV30)IR Light (IR15)
Végétatif StageActivate for 5 minutes per hour while the main light is on, up to 1.5 hours daily. In sync with the main light's operating cycle.
Floraison StageActivate for 10 minutes per hour while the main light is on, up to 2 hours daily.Provide 15 minutes before the main light turns on and 15 minutes after it turns off, for a total of 12 hours daily.

Conseils importants :

  • Durant la phase végétativetage, do not use UV and Blue light simultaneously, as it may slow down plant growth.
  • Adjust the usage time based on different plants, environments, and stress factors; excessive use may cause side effects.

5.3 Benefits of UV Light (UV30)

The ADlite UV30 provides 365-370nm UV-A light, which can significantly impact plant development:

  • Increases THC and CBD content in certain plants.
  • Enhances stress resistance.
  • Regulates plant morphology for optimal growth.

5.4 Benefits of IR Light (IR15)

The ADlite IR15 provides 730-745nm IR light, which is beneficial for:

  • Stimulating stem growth and flowering.
  • Reducing PFR (phytochrome far-red) to promote flowering in short-day plants.
  • Creating a beneficial thermal effect, stimulating metabolic activity.
  • Accelerating stem growth through a shade-avoidance response.

6. Entretien

  • Keep the light bars clean from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.

  • Ensure the light's switch (if any) is in the "On" position.

7.2 Uneven Light Distribution

  • Check the mounting to ensure the light bars are positioned correctly and evenly.
  • Clean the light bars to remove any dust or obstructions that might be blocking light.

7.3 Plant Growth Issues

  • Review the recommended usage times for UV and IR lights for the specific growth stage de vos plantes.
  • Ensure UV and Blue lights are not used simultaneously during the vegetative stage.
  • Consider other environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, nutrients, and main light intensity.
