1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Waterdrop UL12B Under-Sink Water Filtration System. This system is designed to provide filtered water directly from your faucet, reducing various contaminants and improving water quality.

The Waterdrop UL12B system features advanced filtration technology certified by IAPMO against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of chlorine, taste, and odor, and NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free materials. It is also effective in reducing PFAS, PFOA/PFOS, rust, heavy metals, chemical impurities, and sand.

• This system is designed for use with cold water lines only. Do not connect to hot water.
• Ne pas utiliser avec de l’eau microbiologiquement dangereuse ou de qualité inconnue sans désinfection adéquate avant ou après le système.
• The system does not reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). If TDS reduction is required, a Reverse Osmosis system may be more suitable.

4. Configuration et installation

4.1 Avant de commencer

• Assurez-vous de disposer de tous les composants énumérés dans la section 2.1.
• Turn off the main water supply to your sink.
• Gather necessary tools (though minimal tools are required for this drill-free system).

4.2 étapes d'installation

1. Installer le robinet : If using the included faucet, install it into an existing hole on your sink or countertop. The faucet features a 360-degree swivel and a chrome finish. Secure it from the top and twist to lock.
2. Se connecter au filtre : Connect the inlet tubing to the filter unit. The system uses push-to-connect fittings for ease of installation.
3. Connectez l'alimentation en eau : Shut off the water supply. Remove the existing faucet hose from the cold water supply valve. Install the provided T-adapter to the cold water supply valve, then reconnect your original faucet hose to the T-adapter. Connect the filter's inlet tubing to the T-adapter.
4. Connect to the Faucet: Connect the outlet tubing from the filter unit to the dedicated faucet.
5. Secure the Filter Unit: The filter unit can be secured under the sink using its drill-free wall mount with a rotary lock. A suction cup base provides additional stability.

5. Mode d'emploi

5.1 Rinçage initial

After installation, slowly turn on the cold water supply. Open the dedicated filtered water faucet and let the water run for at least 5-10 minutes. This flushes out any carbon fines and air from the system, ensuring optimal performance and taste.

5.2 Fonctionnement normal

Once flushed, your system is ready for use. Simply open the dedicated filtered water faucet to dispense purified water. The system maintains a strong flow rate for quick filling.

6.1 Filter Life Indicator

The Waterdrop UL12B system includes an integrated indicator light on the filter unit:

• Feu vert clignotant : Indicates it is time to replace the battery for the indicator.
• Red light flashing and beep: Indicates it is time to replace the filter.

If no light is visible or a steady green light is shown, the filter and battery are functioning correctly. Tap the indicator to save power.

6.2 Remplacement du filtre

The filter should be replaced every 12 months or after filtering 11,000 gallons, whichever comes first, or when the red indicator light flashes.

1. Coupez l'arrivée d'eau froide du système de filtration.

3. Insert the new filter cartridge and twist clockwise to lock it into place. No tools are required.
