• The exterior wall of the double-wall design is designed to be cooler than ordinary glass kettles, but caution should still be exercised as hot water is inside.

3. Installation et première utilisation

3.1 Déballage

Retirez délicatement la bouilloire et tous ses accessoires de l'emballage. Conservez l'emballage pour un stockage ou une élimination ultérieure.

3.2 Nettoyage initial

1. Avant la première utilisation, remplissez la bouilloire d'eau propre jusqu'au niveau MAX.
2. Boil the water (see Operating Instructions).
3. Jeter l'eau bouillie.
4. Répétez ce processus 2 à 3 fois pour éliminer tout résidu de fabrication.

3.3 Placement

Placez la base d'alimentation sur une surface stable, plane et sèche, à distance du bord du plan de travail. Assurez-vous que le cordon d'alimentation ne pend pas et ne risque pas d'être tiré dessus ou de provoquer une chute.

4. Mode d'emploi

4.1 Remplissage de la bouilloire

1. Appuyez sur le bouton de déverrouillage du couvercle pour ouvrir le couvercle.
2. Fill the kettle with fresh water between the MIN (0.5L) and MAX (1.7L) marks.
3. Fermez bien le couvercle.
4. Placez fermement la bouilloire sur son socle.

4.2 Sélection de la température et ébullition

The kettle offers 5 preset temperature settings, indicated by different LED light colors.

1. Plug the power base into a suitable wall outlet. The LCD display will light up.
2. Appuyez sur le "ENSEMBLE" button repeatedly to cycle through the desired temperature presets. The LED display will show the selected temperature.
3. The 5 LED colors indicate the following temperature ranges:
• Vert: 0°C - 40°C (e.g., for water)
• Bleu: 41°C - 60°C (e.g., for formula milk)
• Violet: 61°C - 80°C (e.g., for green tea)
• Bleu clair: 81°C - 90°C (e.g., for coffee)
• Rouge: 91°C - 100°C (e.g., for black tea, boiling)

4. Once the desired temperature is selected, press the "BOUILLIR" button to start heating. The kettle will heat the water to the selected temperature and then automatically switch to the keep warm function (if applicable).
5. To simply boil water to 100°C, you can directly press the "BOUILLIR" button without selecting a temperature. The kettle will automatically shut off once boiling is complete.

4.3 Fonction de maintien au chaud

After reaching the selected temperature, the kettle will automatically activate the 30-minute keep warm function. The display will show the current temperature, and the kettle will reheat if the temperature drops below the set point. Note: The keep warm function does not apply when boiling to 100°C directly.

4.4 Automatic Shut-off and Boil-Dry Protection

The kettle will automatically turn off once the water has reached the boiling point or the selected temperature. It is also equipped with boil-dry protection, which automatically switches off the heating element if the kettle is accidentally switched on without sufficient water. Allow the kettle to cool down before refilling.

5. Entretien et nettoyage

5.1 Nettoyage quotidien

1. Débranchez toujours la bouilloire et laissez-la refroidir complètement avant de la nettoyer.
2. Essuyez l'extérieur de la bouilloire avec un chiffon doux et sec.amp chiffon. N'utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs ou de tampons à récurer.

5.2 Détartrage

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Regular descaling is recommended to maintain performance and prolong the life of your kettle. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage.

1. Fill the kettle with 1 cup of white vinegar or lemon juice and 2 cups of water.
2. Boil the mixture and let it stand for 30 minutes.
3. Pour out the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water.
4. For stubborn deposits, gently scrub with a soft brush or sponge after soaking.

Note: Limescale forms from minerals in tap water. Using pure or distilled water can prevent scale buildup. Water quality varies by geographical area, affecting hardness and scale formation.
