The Lefton LGD-714 garbage disposal features a user-friendly 3-bolt mounting system and a pre-installed power cord for simplified installation.
5.1 Compatibilité
This disposal is designed for universal compatibility with Lefton Kitchen Sink models. Ensure the drain control device is removed from the sink before installation.

6.1 fonctionnement quotidien

- Mettez l'interrupteur du broyeur en marche.
- Scrape food waste into the sink opening. The 3/4 HP motor and 2700 RPM speed ensure efficient grinding.

- Turn off the disposal, then turn off the cold water.

8. Dépannage

8.1 Disposal Does Not Start

- Bouton de réinitialisation : The disposal is equipped with an auto shut-off manual reset button located on the bottom of the unit. If the motor stops during operation, press this red button to reset the unit.

8.2 Disposal Hums But Does Not Grind
This usually indicates a jam. Follow these steps:
- Débrancher l'alimentation : Turn off the disposal switch and unplug the unit.
- Confiture transparente : Use a hex wrench (not included) in the center hole on the bottom of the disposal and turn it back and forth to free the grinding plate. Alternatively, use tongs or pliers to carefully remove any visible object from the grinding chamber. N'utilisez jamais vos mains.
