3. Installation et assemblage
Assembly is required. Follow these steps carefully. It is recommended to have a second person assist with some steps.
- Installation du garde-boue avant :
Attach the front fender to the front fork. Ensure the support rods are correctly aligned and secure the fender using the provided screws. Do not overtighten initially to allow for wheel installation.
- Installation de la roue avant :
Loosen the screws and safety hooks on both sides of the front fork. Carefully insert the front wheel, ensuring the disc brake pads are centered within the disc brake caliper. Tighten the screws and safety hooks securely. Adjust the wheel to the center position before fully tightening.
- Installation du guidon :
Loosen the screw on the handlebar stem. Insert the handlebar stem into the front fork. Adjust the handlebar to a comfortable angle and ensure it is in a straight line with the front wheel. Tighten the screw securely. Ensure the safety line is not exposed above the fork.
- Brake Cable Connection:
Connect the front and rear brake cables to their respective levers on the handlebar. Ensure the cables are routed correctly and securely attached to the brake calipers. Adjust cable tension for proper braking function.
- Réglage du dérailleur arrière :
Adjust the rear derailleur for smooth gear shifting. Loosen the adjustment screw, position the derailleur correctly relative to the chain and cogs, and then tighten the screw. Ensure the transmission line is properly threaded and secured.
- Installation du garde-boue arrière :
Attach the rear fenders to the rear wheel frame. Note that the rear fender stays have specific orientations (upward and downward facing). Secure them with the provided screws and a wrench. Adjust the position of the fenders to be centered over the wheels.
- Installation de la pédale :
Attach the pedals to the crank arms. Note that pedals are typically marked 'L' for left and 'R' for right. Thread them carefully to avoid cross-threading and tighten them firmly.
- Installation du panier :
Mount the rear basket onto the designated rack at the back of the quad bike. Secure it using the provided hardware. Place the liner inside the basket.

4. Mode d'emploi
Familiarize yourself with the controls before your first ride.
- Départ: Mount the quad bike, place your feet on the pedals, and push off gently to gain momentum.
- Pédaler: Apply even pressure to the pedals to propel the quad bike forward.
- Pilotage: Use the handlebars to steer. The 4-wheel design provides enhanced stability, especially on uneven terrain.
- Changement de vitesse : The 6-speed trigger shifter allows you to change gears. Shift to a lower gear for uphill climbs or starting, and to a higher gear for flat terrain or downhill riding. Shift smoothly to avoid damaging the drivetrain.
- Freinage: The quad bike is equipped with front and rear disc brakes. Squeeze both brake levers gently and evenly to slow down or stop. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially on loose surfaces, to prevent skidding.
- Utilisation hors route : The fat tires are designed for off-road and snow conditions. Exercise caution on challenging terrain and adjust your speed accordingly.
5. Entretien
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your quad bike.
- Pneus: Check tire pressure weekly. Inspect tires for wear, cuts, or punctures. Consider puncture-resistant tubes or tire liners for areas with sharp debris.
- Freins: Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and replace them when necessary. Ensure brake cables are free of fraying and properly tensioned. Adjust brake calipers if the disc rubs.
- Chaîne: Keep the chain clean and lubricated. Clean with a degreaser and apply bicycle-specific chain lubricant every few rides or after riding in wet/dirty conditions.
- Engrenages : Check gear shifting for smoothness. If shifting is rough or inconsistent, adjust the derailleur cables.
- Boulons et écrous : Periodically check all bolts and nuts for tightness, especially on the wheels, handlebars, seat post, and frame connections.
- Nettoyage: Clean the quad bike with mild soap and water. Avoid high-pressure washers directly on bearings or electrical components (if applicable). Dry thoroughly after washing.
- Stockage: Store the quad bike in a dry, covered area to protect it from the elements.
6. Dépannage
Voici des solutions aux problèmes courants que vous pourriez rencontrer :
- Pneu crevé: Inspect the tire for punctures. If found, repair or replace the inner tube. Ensure the tire liner (if installed) is properly seated.
- Grincements/frottements des freins : Check if the brake pads are worn or if the disc is bent. Adjust the brake caliper to ensure the pads are not rubbing against the disc when not engaged. Clean the disc and pads if contaminated.
- Difficulté à changer de vitesse : This often indicates a loose or stretched derailleur cable. Adjust the cable tension at the shifter or derailleur. Ensure the chain is clean and lubricated.
- Loose Handlebars/Seat: Tighten the stem bolt for handlebars or the quick-release/bolt for the seat post. Do not overtighten.
- Bruits inhabituels : Inspect all moving parts for loose components, lack of lubrication, or foreign objects. Pay attention to the chain, pedals, and wheel bearings.
