Introduction

Installation

1. Déballage et inspection

Carefully remove the EQ315 from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage during transit. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.

2. Rack Mounting (Optional)

The EQ315 is designed for standard 19-inch rack mounting. Secure the unit using appropriate rack screws (not included) to ensure stability.

3. Connexion des appareils audio

The EQ315 offers multiple input and output options for versatile integration into your audio system.

• XLR Inputs/Outputs: Use XLR cables for balanced audio connections to professional audio equipment like mixers or power amplificateurs.
• 1/4" TRS Inputs/Outputs: Use 1/4" TRS cables for unbalanced audio connections to compatible devices.
• RCA Inputs/Outputs: Use RCA cables for connecting to consumer-grade audio equipment such as home theater receivers or CD players.
• Subwoofer Output (XLR): Connect your subwoofer to this dedicated XLR output. The frequency can be adjusted later during operation.

4. Connexion électrique

Connect the provided power cord to the AC INPUT on the rear panel of the EQ315 and then to a suitable power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.

Mode d'emploi

1. Mise sous/hors tension

Press the POWER button on the front panel to turn the unit ON or OFF. The LED spectrum display will illuminate upon power-on.

2. Basic Equalization Adjustment

The EQ315 features 31 frequency bands, each with an individual slider for precise adjustment. The LED spectrum display provides real-time visual feedback of the sound quality condition.

You can also adjust bass, midrange, and treble equalization independently:

• Égalisation des basses : Adjust frequencies from 20-250Hz.
• Midrange Equalization: Adjust frequencies from 315-2500Hz.
• Treble Equalization: Adjust frequencies from 3.15-20KHz.
• Use the GAIN knob to select the spectrum and the VOLUME knob to adjust the intensity.

3. Preset Modes and EQ BYPASS

The EQ315 allows you to save and recall up to 10 custom equalization settings.

• Enregistrement d'un préréglage : Adjust the EQ settings to your preference. Lightly press the SAUVEGARDER button and rotate the GAIN or VOLUME knob to select a mode from 1-10. Press SAUVEGARDER encore une fois pour confirmer.

• CONTOURNEMENT EQ : Appuyez sur le CONTOURNE button to temporarily disable the equalizer effect, allowing for direct comparison or simplified debugging.

4. Connexion Bluetooth

The EQ315 features a built-in Bluetooth 5.2 module for wireless audio streaming.

• Ensure the enhanced antenna is properly connected to the rear panel.

5. Lecture USB

Insert a USB drive containing lossless music audio files into the USB slot on the front panel. The unit will automatically detect and begin playback.

6. Subwoofer Output Adjustment

The independent subwoofer output allows for fine-tuning of bass frequencies.

• NIVEAU: Adjusts the gain (volume) of the subwoofer output.
• FRÉQ : Adjusts the operating frequency of the subwoofer output between 50Hz-250Hz.

Entretien

• Nettoyage: Utilisez un chiffon doux et sec pour nettoyer l'extérieur de l'appareil. N'utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs ni de solvants.
• Ventilation: Vérifiez régulièrement que les ouvertures de ventilation sont dégagées de poussière et de débris.
• Stockage: Si vous devez entreposer l'appareil pendant une période prolongée, débranchez-le de l'alimentation électrique et rangez-le dans un endroit frais et sec, de préférence dans son emballage d'origine.
