This manual provides essential instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your GRSICO Wireless Home Alarm System A-9pack. This system is designed to enhance your home security with easy DIY installation, remote control via a smartphone application, and instant alerts. The GRSICO Wireless Home Security System 9-Piece Kit includes a Base Station, two Remote Controllers, two Motion Detectors, and four Contact Sensors. It is suitable for securing 2-3 bedroom homes, apartments, or offices.

4. Installation

4.1 Installation initiale

The GRSICO Wireless Home Alarm System is designed for easy do-it-yourself installation, typically completed within minutes without the need for wiring or drilling.

4.2 Monitoring Hub (Base Station) Setup

  1. Place the Monitoring Hub in a central location within your home, ensuring it is within Wi-Fi range.
  2. Connect the Monitoring Hub to a power outlet using the provided power adapter and USB C cable. The hub will power on automatically.
  3. Wait for the indicator light on the hub to show it is ready for pairing (refer to the hub's specific light indicators in the quick start guide).

4.3 Installation du capteur

Strategically place your sensors to cover entry points and key areas.

  • Contact Sensors (Entry Sensors): Attach these to doors and windows using the double-sided mounting tape. Ensure the two parts of the sensor are aligned and within 1 cm of each other when the door/window is closed.
  • Capteurs de mouvement : Install motion sensors in corners of rooms or hallways to cover a wide area. Each motion sensor has a 120° field of view and a 25 ft range. Use the provided brackets and screws or double-sided tape for mounting.

4.4 Configuration de l'application pour smartphone

  1. Téléchargez l'application « Smart Life » depuis la boutique d'applications de votre smartphone (iOS ou Android).

  3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your GRSICO Wireless Home Alarm System. This typically involves selecting 'Add Device', choosing the alarm system category, and following the pairing prompts.

5. Mode d'emploi

5.1 Armement et désarmement

Your GRSICO alarm system offers various modes to suit your security needs. You can control these modes using the remote fobs, the keypad (if included in your specific kit), or the Smart Life app.

  • Mode désarmé : The system is off, and sensors will not trigger the alarm.
  • Mode maison : Typically arms perimeter sensors (e.g., door/window sensors) while allowing free movement inside the home.
  • Mode absent: All sensors are armed. This mode is used when no one is expected to be in the home.

5.2 Fonctionnement de la télécommande

The included remote fobs allow for quick arming and disarming of your system.

  • Appuyez sur le Verrouillage button to arm the system (Away Mode).
  • Appuyez sur le Ouvrir button to disarm the system.
  • Appuyez sur le Maison button to activate Home Mode.
  • Appuyez sur le SOS button to trigger an emergency alarm.

5.3 Instant Alerts and Siren

When a sensor is triggered while the system is armed, the Monitoring Hub will emit a loud 120dB alarm to deter intruders. Simultaneously, you will receive instant notifications on your smartphone via the Smart Life app.

5.4 Commande vocale avec Alexa

The GRSICO Wireless Home Alarm System is compatible with Alexa, allowing you to control your system using voice commands. Ensure your Smart Life account is linked to your Alexa app.

6. Entretien

6.1 Remplacement de la batterie

Sensors and remote fobs are battery-powered. When batteries are low, the system or app may notify you. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous protection.

  • Motion Sensors / Contact Sensors: Refer to the specific sensor's compartment for battery type (typically Alkaline) and replacement instructions.
  • Remote Fobs: Replace with the specified button cell battery type.
