3. Guide de configuration

3.1 Installation de l'application et création du compte

1. Download the 'Skymee' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).

3.2 Device Connection (Bluetooth & WiFi)

The SKYMEE feeder supports both 2.4G and 5G WiFi for stable connection.

3.3 Physical Assembly and Power

3. Open the top lid and fill the food bin with dry pet food. The 12L capacity can hold approximately 25 lbs of food. Ensure the food size is between 5mm-17mm.
4. Close the lid securely. The feeder features an automatic screen door design and a sealing mechanism to prevent moisture and pests.

4.1 Feeding Management

• Timed and Customized Feeding: Use the Skymee app to set up multiple feeding schedules throughout the day. You can customize portion sizes (1-30 portions) for each feeding.
• Remote Control Feeding: Dispense food instantly at any time using the app, even when you are away from home.

4.2 Camera & Monitoring

• 1080P Full HD Camera: View your pet in high definition through the app. The camera offers a 130-degree wide-angle view.

4.3 Two-Way Audio & Voice Messages

4.4 Partage d'appareils

5. Entretien

5.1 Nettoyage du distributeur

The food bowl and grain bin should be cleaned regularly to ensure hygiene. The food bowl is detachable for easy cleaning.

• Bol alimentaire : Hand wash the food bowl with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.
• Grain Bin: The grain bin can be dismantled for thorough cleaning. Refer to Figure 8 for dismantling instructions. Hand wash only.

The feeder includes a desiccant pack in the lid to keep food fresh. Replace the desiccant pack periodically (e.g., every 1-2 months) to maintain effectiveness.

If using battery backup, check the battery level periodically. Replace D-size batteries when low to ensure continuous operation during power outaget.

6.1 Problèmes de connectivité

• Le distributeur ne se connecte pas au Wi-Fi : Ensure your WiFi password is correct. Check if the feeder is within range of your router. The feeder supports both 2.4G and 5G WiFi. Try restarting your router and the feeder.
• L'application ne trouve pas l'appareil : Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the feeder is powered on. Try restarting the app.

6.2 Food Dispensing Problems

• Distribution de nourriture non assurée : Check if the food bin is empty. Ensure the food size is appropriate (5mm-17mm) and not causing blockages. Clean the dispensing mechanism if crumbs or debris are accumulating.
• "No Food" notification despite food being present: This can sometimes occur due to sensor issues or food settling. Gently shake the feeder or manually dispense a small portion to reset. Ensure the food level is above the sensor.
