Installation

1. Charger la brosse à dents

Before first use, fully charge your Laifen Wave toothbrush. The magnetic charging cable conveniently attaches to the bottom of the handle. The power indicator light will blink while charging and turn solid green when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours and provides up to 45 days of battery life when used twice a day on default Mode 1.

To attach a brush head, align it with the motor shaft on the toothbrush handle and press down firmly. It is normal for there to be a small gap (approximately 1mm) between the brush head and the handle. The Laifen Wave comes with three copper-free brush heads: Gum Care (soft tapered bristles), Super-Clean (C-shaped bristles), and Ultra-Whitening (DuPont bristles).

3. Disabling Flight Mode

When turning on the device for the first time, or after travel, you may need to disable Flight Mode. Long press the power button for 2 seconds until the airplane icon disappears to disable Flight Mode. To re-enable Flight Mode for travel, long press the power button for 2 seconds until the airplane icon appears. This prevents accidental activation and battery drain.

The Laifen Wave features a pressure-sensitive button. Press it once to turn the toothbrush on or to pause brushing. Double press the button to cycle through the three preset brushing modes:

• Mode 1 (Gentle Cleaning): Suitable for users with sensitive teeth and gums.
• Mode 2 (Efficient Cleaning): Ideal for deeply cleaning teeth and daily brushing needs.
• Mode 3 (Powerful Cleaning): Designed for deep whitening results and plaque removal.

2. Brushing Method

Apply toothpaste to the brush head. Place the brush head into your mouth before turning it on to avoid toothpaste splashing. Position the brush head on the gum line at a 45-degree angle, aligning with the dentist-recommended Bass brushing technique. Gently move the toothbrush across your teeth, resting it for a moment on each tooth to effectively clean both the teeth and gums. The toothbrush has a default brushing duration of 2 minutes.

3. Automatic Sleep and Wake-Up

The Laifen Wave features an automatic sleep and wake-up function. Picking up the toothbrush will wake it up from sleep mode and reorient the brush head. If left idle for more than 10 seconds, the toothbrush will automatically enter sleep mode to conserve battery.

4. Personnalisation de l'application

For personalized brushing, download the Laifen App from your relevant app store. Register an account using your email address. Tap the '+' symbol, then 'Next', wake up the toothbrush, and pair it via Bluetooth. Tap 'Connect' to establish the connection. The app allows you to adjust:

Entretien

1. Nettoyage

After each use, rinse the brush head and the toothbrush handle thoroughly with running water. The Laifen Wave features an IPX7 waterproof rating, allowing for convenient cleaning. Place the toothbrush in a cool, ventilated place to dry.

Dentists recommend replacing the brush head every three months, or sooner if the bristles become deformed or damaged. To replace, hold the brush head firmly and pull it straight up from the handle. Align the new brush head with the motor shaft and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

  A: The toothbrush may need to be charged due to battery drain caused by prolonged storage. Typically, the indicator light will turn on within 5-10 minutes, and the toothbrush will fully charge in approximately 2-2.5 hours (the indicator light will turn a steady green). Ensure Flight Mode is disabled by long-pressing the power button.

  A: The motor performance and functional design of the Laifen Waves are identical; however, the feel and texture of the toothbrushes will differ. Additionally, the metal models and the ABS models come with different color brush heads.
• Q: How long does the Laifen Wave take to fully charge and how long does the battery last?
