1. Introduction

1. Wind-resistant ball: Reduces wind noise interference for more accurate outdoor measurements.
2. Electric condenser microphone: High-sensitivity microphone for precise sound detection.

3. Installation

3.1 Installation de la batterie

The device requires 3 AAA batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:

1. Repérez le couvercle du compartiment à piles à l'arrière de l'appareil.
2. Faites glisser le couvercle vers le bas pour l'ouvrir.
3. Insérez trois piles AAA en respectant la polarité (+ et -).
4. Remettez en place le couvercle du compartiment à piles en le faisant glisser vers le haut jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche.

3.2 Attaching the Wind-Resistant Ball

For outdoor measurements or in windy conditions, attach the foam wind-resistant ball to the microphone to minimize interference from air movement.

1. Gently slide the wind-resistant ball over the microphone head until it is securely in place.

4. Mode d'emploi

4.1 Mise sous/hors tension

• Pour allumer : Appuyez sur le Alimentation/LED bouton. L'écran LCD s'illuminera.
• Pour éteindre : Appuyez et maintenez le bouton enfoncé Alimentation/LED pendant environ 2 secondes.

Contrôle du rétroéclairage 4.2

• Lorsque l'appareil est allumé, appuyez brièvement sur Alimentation/LED button to toggle the backlight on or off.

4.3 Measurement Modes (MAX/MIN)

The device can display the current sound level, or the maximum/minimum sound level recorded since entering the mode.

• Appuyez sur le MIN MAX button once to display the maximum (MAX) sound level. The 'MAX' indicator will appear on the screen.
• Appuyez sur le MIN MAX button again to display the minimum (MIN) sound level. The 'MIN' indicator will appear on the screen.
• Appuyez sur le MIN MAX button a third time to return to normal real-time measurement.

4.4 Fonction de maintien des données

Pour figer la lecture actuelle affichée :

• Appuyez sur le PRISE button. The 'HOLD' indicator will appear, and the displayed value will remain fixed.
• Appuyez sur le PRISE button again to release the hold function and resume real-time measurement.

NE PAS éteindre automatiquement

The device features an automatic shutdown function to conserve battery power. If no operation is performed for approximately 10 minutes, the meter will automatically turn off. This feature cannot be disabled.

5. Entretien

• Nettoyage: Utilisez un chiffon doux et sec pour nettoyer l'appareil. N'utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs ni de solvants.
• Stockage: En cas de non-utilisation prolongée, retirez les piles pour éviter les fuites. Rangez l'appareil dans un endroit frais et sec, à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil et des températures extrêmes.
• Entretien du microphone : Avoid touching the microphone directly. Keep it free from dust and debris. Always use the wind-resistant ball in appropriate conditions.
