3. Configuration et installation

This wall plate features a snap-in, tool-free installation design for the keystone modules, simplifying the wiring process.

2. Prepare the Network Cable: Carefully strip approximately 2-3 cm (1 inch) of the outer jacket from your CAT7 or CAT6A solid core network cable. Untwist the wire pairs.
3. Wire Termination (Tool-Free Keystone Module):

   • Open the keystone module. You will see color-coded slots for T568A and T568B wiring standards. Choose the standard consistent with your network infrastructure.
   • Place each individual wire into its corresponding color-coded slot on the LSA strips. Ensure the wires are fully seated.
   • Close the keystone module cover. The snap-in mechanism will automatically terminate the wires, cutting off any excess. Verify that all 8 pins have made proper contact.
4. Insert Keystone Modules into Wall Plate:

   • Snap the terminated keystone modules into the designated ports on the recessed network panel.
   • Ensure they are securely clicked into place.
5. Monter la plaque murale : Secure the assembled wall plate into the wall opening using appropriate screws or mounting hardware (not included, as installation methods vary).
6. Attach Dust Covers: The wall plate includes dust covers for unused ports or for protecting active ports when not in use.

Once installed, the VCELINK Keystone Wall Plate functions as a standard network access point.

• Connexion d'appareils : Insert a standard RJ45 Ethernet patch cable from your device (e.g., computer, router, switch) into one of the ports on the wall plate.
• Déconnexion des appareils : To disconnect, gently press the release tab on the RJ45 connector and pull the cable straight out. Avoid pulling the cable by force.
• Protection contre la poussière: Utilize the integrated dust covers to protect unused ports from dust and debris, which can degrade connection quality over time.

  • Check the patch cable connecting your device to the wall plate. Try a different patch cable.
  • Ensure the other end of the installed network cable is properly connected to your network switch or router.

  • Ensure the installed cable is indeed CAT7 or CAT6A and meets the required specifications for high-speed data.
