1. Introduction

The Alfred DB2S Smart RFID Deadbolt Lock offers advanced security and convenient access for your home. This lock features multiple entry methods including PIN code, RFID card, traditional key override, and control via the Alfred Home App. Designed for ease of use and installation, it integrates modern technology to enhance your home security experience.

3. Configuration et installation

The Alfred DB2S is designed for DIY-friendly installation. A fully digital installation process is available via the BILT app for step-by-step guidance.

3.2. Préparation de la porte

Verify your door dimensions meet the requirements for installation. The lock is compatible with standard door preparations.

3.3. Installing the Latch Bolt

Insert the latch bolt into the door edge. Ensure the latch bolt face is flush with the door edge and the slotted hole is centered. Secure it with the provided screws.

3.4. Installing Exterior and Interior Assemblies

Route the cable from the exterior assembly through the door hole and connect it to the interior assembly. Secure both assemblies to the door using the mounting plate and screws. Ensure the tailpiece is horizontal and the thumb turn is vertical for proper operation.

3.5. Installation et activation de la batterie

Install the rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack into the interior assembly. The lock will activate upon battery insertion. Follow the instructions in the Alfred Home App to complete the initial setup and calibration.

• Code PIN: Enter your programmed PIN code on the illuminated touchscreen keypad.
• Carte RFID : Present a registered RFID card to the built-in RFID reader.

• Alfred Home App: Use the Bluetooth connection on your mobile device via the Alfred Home App to lock.
• Remote Lock (with Alfred Connect WIFI bridge, sold separately): Control your lock remotely via the Alfred Home App.

4.3. Fonctionnalités avancées

• Door Position Sensors: These sensors detect when your door is physically open, preventing auto-locking if the door is not fully closed.
• Mode de confidentialité : Activate Privacy Mode from the interior to disable all external access methods except the master code and mechanical key.
• Mode absent: When activated, an alarm will sound if the lock is accessed via mechanical key or thumb turn, and user PIN codes/fingerprints will be disabled. Only the master PIN code or app can disable Away Mode.
• Contrôle vocal : With the Alfred Connect WIFI bridge (sold separately), the lock is compatible with Hey Google and Alexa for voice commands.

5. Entretien

5.1. Gestion de la batterie

The lock features a built-in low battery warning on both the touchscreen and within the Alfred Home App. When battery levels are low, recharge the lithium-ion battery pack. In case of complete battery failure, the lock can be temporarily powered via a USB-C port on the bottom of the outside panel for emergency access to change the battery pack.

5.2. Nettoyage
