4. Installation (Configuration)
The installation of the heating element is designed to be straightforward and can be performed at home. However, if you are unsure, consult a qualified professional.
- Contrôle de compatibilité: Ensure your bathroom radiator has a G1/2 inch connection thread. The 300W heating element is suitable for bathroom radiators with a power output between 300-600 watts.
- Positionnement : The heating element must always be installed at the bottom of the bathroom radiator. This ensures proper heat distribution and safe operation.
- Filling the Radiator: Before installing the heating element, ensure the radiator is properly filled with the appropriate liquid (e.g., water or heat transfer fluid) according to your radiator's instructions.
- Installation sécurisée : Carefully screw the heating element into the G1/2 inch port at the bottom of the radiator. Ensure it is tightened securely to prevent leaks.
- Connexion électrique : Plug the coiled power cord into a suitable 230V ± 10% electrical outlet. The cable length is approximately 1400-1500 mm.
- Précaution de sécurité : For safety reasons, the heating element does not heat up within 3-4 cm of the power supply connection point.

5. Fonctionnement
The EMKE heating element features intelligent temperature control with six distinct operating modes, allowing for precise temperature management from 30 °C to 70 °C. The digital display provides real-time information on current temperature and settings.

Modes de fonctionnement :
- Mode économie : Standard temperature is 15 °C. Adjustable range is 7-30 °C.
- Mode Confort : Standard temperature is 19 °C. Adjustable range is 7-30 °C.
- Mode hors gel : Temperature is fixed at 7 °C and is not adjustable.
- Mode Boost : Allows for 30 minutes to 24 hours of continuous heating.
- Mode minuterie : Can be set to heat at regular intervals.
- Mode Vacances : Allows you to set the device's temperature when you are away and specify the number of days you will be gone.
Fonction de verrouillage enfant :
The thermostatic heating rods are equipped with a touch protection program (child lock function) to ensure a safe environment. Refer to the device's specific instructions for activating and deactivating the child lock.

6. Entretien
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your EMKE heating element.
- Nettoyage: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Wipe the exterior of the heating element and control unit with a soft, damp chiffon. N'utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs ou de solvants.
- Inspection: Periodically check the power cord for any signs of damage. Ensure the connection to the radiator is secure and free from leaks.
- Niveau de liquide : Ensure the liquid level in your radiator is maintained as per the radiator manufacturer's guidelines.
7. Dépannage
If you encounter issues with your EMKE heating element, refer to the following common solutions:
- Pas d'alimentation : Check if the power plug is securely inserted into the outlet. Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped.
- Pas de chauffage : Ensure the desired temperature is set above the current room temperature. Check if the heating element is in an active heating mode (e.g., Comfort, Boost). Verify the radiator is filled with liquid.
- Problèmes d'affichage : If the digital display is not functioning correctly, try unplugging the unit for a few minutes and then plugging it back in to reset it.
- Fuites : If you notice any leaks, immediately disconnect power and tighten the connection thread. If the leak persists, contact customer support.
