4. Installation

Suivez ces étapes pour la configuration initiale :

  1. Déballage et placement : Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Place it on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Remove Securing Screws: Before first use, remove the four Z-axis securing screws using the included 2.0mm hex wrench.

Image: Important notice regarding the removal of Z-axis securing screws using a hex wrench, emphasizing proper angle to prevent stripping.

Critical Note: Ensure the hex wrench is inserted at a 90-degree perpendicular angle to the screw head and rotate gently. Improper alignment may result in screw head stripping, making the screws difficult to remove. If stripping occurs, refer to the troubleshooting section or contact support.

  3. Connexion électrique : Branchez le câble d'alimentation à l'imprimante et à une prise de courant appropriée.
  4. Mise sous tension initiale : Turn on the printer using the power switch. The touchscreen will guide you through the initial setup process, including network connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
  5. Chargement des filaments : Follow the on-screen instructions to load the filament. Place the spool on the holder and feed the filament into the extruder until it is automatically pulled in.
  6. Nivellement automatique du plateau : The Adventurer 5M Pro features automatic bed leveling. The printer will perform a pressure-sensing calibration to ensure a flawless first layer. No manual adjustments are typically needed.

  7. Installation du logiciel : Download and install the FlashPrint or Orca-Flashforge slicing software from the official FLASHFORGE website onto your computer. This software is essential for preparing your 3D models for printing.

5. Mode d'emploi

5.1 Processus d'impression

  1. Préparer le modèle : Open your 3D model (.STL, .OBJ, etc.) in the FlashPrint or Orca-Flashforge slicing software.
  2. Configurer les paramètres : Adjust print settings such as layer height, infill density, print speed, and support structures based on your model and desired quality. The Adventurer 5M Pro supports high-speed printing up to 600mm/s.

Image: The printer's high-speed capabilities, reaching 600mm/s print speed and 20000mm/s² acceleration for rapid model realization.

  3. Modèle de tranche : Use the software to "slice" the model, converting it into G-code instructions for the printer.
  4. Transfert File: Transférez le code G file to the printer via USB drive, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet.
  5. Démarrer l'impression : Sélectionnez le file on the printer's touchscreen and initiate the print. The printer will automatically heat the nozzle and bed.
  6. Impression sur écran : You can monitor the print progress via the built-in HD camera (accessible through the Flash Maker mobile app or printer's IP address) or directly on the printer's 4.3-inch touchscreen.

  7. Supprimer l'impression : Once printing is complete and the bed has cooled, gently remove the printed object from the dual-sided PEI platform.

5.2 Compatibilité des matériaux

The Adventurer 5M Pro supports a wide range of filament types due to its 280°C full-metal direct extruder:

  • PLA (acide polylactique)
  • ABS (acrylonitrile butadiène styrène)
  • PETG (polyéthylène téréphtalate glycol)
  • ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate)
  • TPU (polyuréthane thermoplastique)
  • PC (polycarbonate)
  • PLA-CF (PLA Carbon Fiber)
  • PETG-CF (PETG Carbon Fiber)

6. Entretien

6.1 Entretien des buses

  • Remplacement de la buse : The Adventurer 5M Pro features a quick-detachable nozzle. To replace, ensure the nozzle is heated, then carefully detach and replace.
Diagram showing different nozzle sizes and the quick-detach mechanism.

Image: Illustration of the 32mm³/s high-flow quick-detach nozzle, available in various sizes (0.25mm, 0.4mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm) for different printing needs.

  • Nozzle Cleaning (Cold Pull): Heat the nozzle to the material's melting point, then cool it to 80°C and quickly pull the filament out to remove any residue. Wear heat-resistant gloves. For stubborn blockages, repeat 2-3 times.
  • Nozzle Cleaning (Needle Clearing): Heat the nozzle to the material's melting point. Insert a needle from the top of the extruder and remove any accumulated material.
  • Nozzle Usage Recommendations: Dedicate one nozzle per filament type (especially carbon fiber/PETG). When switching filament with the same nozzle, set a higher temperature than the melting point of the filament inside to perform internal cleaning. Clean nozzles every 1-3 months.

Système de filtration d'air 6.2

The dual circulation system helps reduce dust and VOCs. Regularly check and clean the air filters to maintain optimal performance and air quality.
