5. Configuration et installation

The SIMON 10 Series switch/commutator is designed for straightforward installation. Please ensure you have read and understood the safety information before proceeding.

1. Débrancher l'alimentation : Turn off the power supply to the circuit at the main circuit breaker or fuse box. Confirm power is off with a voltage testeur.
2. Préparation du câblage : Carefully remove the existing switch or cover plate. Identify the live, neutral, and ground wires (if applicable) according to local wiring standards. For a commutator, identify the common wire and the two traveler wires.

6. Mode d'emploi

The SIMON 10 Series switch/commutator is operated by pressing the rocker switch.

• As a Standard Switch: When wired as a single-pole switch, pressing the top or bottom of the rocker will toggle the connected light or device ON or OFF.
• As a Commutator (Two-Way Switch): When wired in a two-way configuration, pressing the rocker will alternate the circuit connection, allowing you to control a single light fixture from two separate locations. For example, one switch at the bottom of a staircase and another at the top.
