4. Installation

4.1 Installation de la batterie

The thermometer includes a single probe for temperature measurement. For accurate readings, place the probe in the desired monitoring location within your refrigerator or freezer. Ensure the probe cable is not pinched or damaged by the appliance door.

4.3 Montage du thermomètre

The main unit can be placed using one of the following methods:

  • Flip-out Desk Stand: Extend the stand on the back of the unit to place it on a flat surface.
  • Montage mural : Use the designated mounting hole on the back of the unit to hang it on a screw or hook.
  • Fixation magnétique : Utilize the magnetic hook-and-loop attachment to secure the unit to a metallic surface.

5. Fonctionnement

5.1 Mise sous/hors tension

The thermometer powers on automatically once batteries are installed. There is no manual power off button; the unit operates continuously until batteries are depleted or removed.

5.2 Lecture des températures

The triple display shows the current temperature, along with the recorded minimum (MIN) and maximum (MAX) temperatures since the last reset. These values update continuously.

To switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), locate the 'MODE' button on the front of the unit. Press the 'MODE' button to toggle the display between the two units.

5.4 Setting Alarms (Max/Min)

The thermometer allows you to set desired maximum and minimum temperature limits. An audible and visual alarm will activate if the temperature goes above the set maximum or below the set minimum.

  1. Press and hold the 'EVENT' button to enter alarm setting mode.
  2. Use the 'MODE' button to adjust the desired maximum temperature.
  3. Press 'EVENT' again to confirm the maximum temperature and move to setting the minimum temperature.
  4. Use the 'MODE' button to adjust the desired minimum temperature.
  5. Press 'EVENT' one more time to save the settings and exit alarm setting mode.

5.5 Resetting Min/Max Readings

To clear the recorded minimum and maximum temperatures, press and hold the 'MODE' button until the MIN/MAX values reset on the display.

6. Entretien

6.1 Nettoyage
