1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Ducar DG11050E Gasoline Generator. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the generator to ensure proper use and to prevent injury or damage.

4. Installation

Before starting the generator, perform the following setup steps:

4.1 Déballage et placement

Carefully remove the generator from its packaging. Place the generator on a firm, level surface outdoors, ensuring adequate ventilation and clearance from combustible materials.

4.2 Ajouter de l'huile moteur

The generator is shipped without engine oil. Add 1.6 liters of recommended engine oil (e.g., SAE 10W-30) to the oil fill port. Do not overfill. Check the oil level using the dipstick.

4.3 Ajouter du carburant

Ensure the generator is off and cool. Fill the 25-liter fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Do not fill above the red indicator in the fuel tank. Securely close the fuel cap.

4.4 Connect Battery (for Self-Start Models)

If your model includes self-start, connect the battery terminals according to the markings (+ to + and - to -). Ensure connections are tight.

Follow these steps to safely operate your generator:

5.1 Démarrage du générateur

1. Assurez-vous que le générateur est placé sur une surface plane et que toutes les charges électriques sont déconnectées.
2. Tournez le robinet d'essence sur la position « ON ».
3. Déplacez le levier de starter en position « CHOKE » (si le moteur est froid).
4. For Hand-Start: Tirez fermement et en douceur sur la poignée du lanceur à rappel jusqu'à ce que le moteur démarre.
5. For Self-Start: Turn the engine switch to the "START" position and hold until the engine starts. Release the key once started.
6. Une fois le moteur démarré, déplacez progressivement le levier de starter en position « MARCHE ».
7. Laissez le moteur chauffer pendant quelques minutes avant de brancher les appareils électriques.

5.2 Raccordement des charges électriques

Connect your appliances or extension cords to the appropriate AC outlets on the control panel. Do not exceed the generator's rated output of 8300W or maximum output of 9100W. Monitor the voltmeter to ensure stable operation.

5.3 Arrêt du générateur

1. Débranchez toutes les charges électriques du générateur.
2. Laissez le générateur fonctionner quelques minutes à vide pour qu'il refroidisse.
3. Mettez l'interrupteur du moteur sur la position « ARRÊT ».
4. Tournez le robinet d'essence sur la position « ARRÊT ».

6. Entretien

Un entretien régulier garantit des performances optimales et prolonge la durée de vie de votre générateur.

6.1 Vérification et vidange de l'huile moteur

• Vérifier le niveau d'huile avant chaque utilisation.
• Changer l'huile après les 20 premières heures de fonctionnement, puis toutes les 100 heures ou une fois par an.

6.2 Nettoyage du filtre à air

Inspect the air filter every 50 hours of operation or more frequently in dusty conditions. Clean or replace as necessary.

6.3 Inspection des bougies d'allumage

Inspect the spark plug every 100 hours. Clean or replace if fouled or damaged. Ensure proper gap.

6.4 Stockage

For extended storage, drain the fuel tank and carburetor, or add a fuel stabilizer. Remove the spark plug and add a small amount of engine oil into the cylinder, then pull the recoil starter a few times to distribute the oil. Clean the exterior of the generator.
