Please read this manual carefully before operating the appliance and keep it for future reference. This product is an evaporative cooler and is pas an air conditioner. It works by decreasing the thermal sensation of the environment by passing air through water, and performs best in dry environments.

3. Installation

Follow these steps to set up your evaporative air cooler:

   • Carefully pour clean, cool water into the tank. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (0.8 liters).

4. Connecter l'alimentation : Insert the USB power cable into the designated port on the unit (refer to Figure 2.2.3). Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible 127V power adapter (not always included) or a USB power source.
5. Vérification initiale : Before turning on, ensure the filter is properly seated and the water tank lid is securely closed.

4. Fonctionnement

Operating your TAURUS SNOW FLAKE air cooler is straightforward:

1. Marche/Arrêt : Appuyez sur le POUVOIR button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off. The LED indicator light will illuminate when the unit is on.
2. Ajustez la vitesse du ventilateur : Appuyez sur le VITESSE button to cycle between the two available fan speeds (Low and High).
3. Régler la minuterie: Appuyez sur le MINUTEUR button to set the desired operating time. The timer can be set from 1 to 12 hours. The unit will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

5. Entretien

5.1 Nettoyage du réservoir d'eau

• Fréquence: Clean the water tank regularly, especially if the unit is used frequently or if water has been stagnant for an extended period.
• Procédure:
  1. Débranchez l’appareil de la source d’alimentation.
  2. Retirez le réservoir d'eau et videz l'eau restante.
  3. Wipe the inside of the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue.
  4. Laisser le réservoir sécher complètement à l'air libre avant de le remonter.

5.2 Cleaning the Evaporative Filter

• Fréquence: Inspect and clean the filter every 1-2 weeks, or more often depending on air quality and usage.
• Procédure:
  1. Assurez-vous que l'unité est débranchée.
  2. Carefully remove the evaporative filter from its housing (refer to Figure 2.2.2).
  3. Rinse the filter under cool, running water to remove dust and mineral deposits. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  4. If the filter is heavily soiled, soak it in a solution of water and mild detergent for 15-30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
  5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before placing it back into the unit.
