1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your SECULINK 8-Channel 4K POE Network Video Recorder (NVR). This NVR is designed for high-quality surveillance, supporting 8MP Super HD video recording and offering convenient features such as Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified camera connections, advanced H.265 video compression, and remote access capabilities.

4. Installation
4.1. Hard Drive (HDD) Installation
The NVR does not come with a pre-installed hard drive. Follow these steps to install a 3.5" SATA HDD (up to 6TB) for video storage.
- Twist down the screws of the DVR: Carefully remove the screws securing the NVR's cover.
- Access the hard disk: Gently slide open the cover to expose the internal components. Connect the SATA data and power cables to the HDD.
- Install the screws: Secure the HDD inside the NVR using the provided screws. Replace the NVR cover and secure it with its screws.

4.2. Connecting Cameras
The SECULINK NVR features Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports, simplifying camera connections. A single Ethernet cable provides both power and data transmission to compatible PoE IP cameras.
- Connect your PoE IP cameras directly to the numbered POE ports (POE1-POE8) on the rear of the NVR using standard Ethernet cables.
- Ensure your cameras are ONVIF compliant for optimal compatibility.

4.3. Configuration initiale
- Connect the NVR to a monitor using either the HDMI or VGA output port.
- Connect the included USB mouse to one of the USB ports on the NVR.
- Connect the NVR to your network router using an Ethernet cable via the RJ45 uplink port.
- Connect the power adapter to the DC 48V input on the NVR and plug it into a power outlet. The NVR will power on automatically.

5.3. Remote Access with Mobile App
Monitor your property from anywhere using the free mobile application (XMeye or VMS) on your smartphone, tablet, or PC.
- Download the XMeye Pro APP from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You can also visit http://d.xmeye.net/Xmeye pour téléchargement direct.

5.4. Résolution vidéo

6. Entretien

7. Dépannage

- Check HDMI/VGA cable connections to the monitor and NVR.

- Check the HDD status in the NVR's system settings; it may need to be formatted.
