Introduction

The TARGET TT-KR-204 is a versatile 5-band multimedia FM radio designed for clear reception and powerful audio output. It features an integrated circuit (I.C.) receiver and a super sensitive antenna for enhanced signal capture across multiple frequency bands.

This radio offers flexible power options, operating on either 3V DC (battery power) or 220V AC (corded electric), making it suitable for both portable and home use.

Installation

Alimentation de la radio :

1. Battery Operation (3V DC):

   • Insert the required batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

2. AC Power Operation (220V AC):
   • Obtain a compatible 220V AC power cable (not included).
   • Insert one end of the power cable into the AC power input port on the radio.

Fonctionnement de base :

1. Marche/Arrêt : The volume knob typically doubles as the power switch. Rotate it clockwise to turn the radio on and counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn it off.
2. Réglage du volume : Rotate the volume knob to increase or decrease the audio output.
3. Sélection d'un groupe : Use the band selector switch (located on the side or back, as shown in Figure 2) to choose your desired frequency band:
   • FM: For local FM radio stations (88-108 MHz).
   • MW (Medium Wave): For AM radio stations (550-1650 KHz).
   • SW (Short Wave): For international and long-distance broadcasts (various MHz ranges).
   • TV1/TV2: For specific TV audio broadcasts (various MHz ranges).
4. Syntonisation d'une station :
   • Déployez complètement l'antenne télescopique pour une réception optimale, notamment pour les bandes FM et SW.
   • Slowly rotate the tuning dial until you hear a clear broadcast.
   • Adjust the antenna position and length for the best signal clarity.

Optimisation de la réception :

• For FM and Shortwave, extend the telescopic antenna.
• For Medium Wave (AM), the radio uses an internal ferrite bar antenna. Rotate the radio unit itself for best reception.
• Avoid placing the radio near large metal objects, electronic devices, or concrete walls, which can interfere with reception.

Entretien
