1. Introduction

3.1 Panneau avant

3.2 Panneau arrière

4. Instructions de configuration

Follow these steps to set up your Cisco DPC3010 Cable Modem:

  1. Connectez le câble coaxial : Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the CABLE port on the rear of the modem and the other end to a cable wall outlet. Ensure the connection is finger-tight.
  2. Connectez le câble Ethernet : Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the ETHERNET port on the rear of the modem. Connect the other end to the WAN/Internet port of your wireless router or directly to your computer's Ethernet port.

Note: If you are replacing an existing modem, ensure the old modem is disconnected and your ISP has updated your account with the new modem's information.

Understanding the LED indicators on the front panel helps monitor the modem's status:

  • Link (Solid Green): An active Ethernet connection is established with a connected device (router/computer).
  • Lumières clignotantes: Indicates activity or an attempt to establish a connection. If lights flash continuously without becoming solid, refer to the troubleshooting section.

6. Entretien

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Cisco DPC3010 modem:
