1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your lexvss 4L Automatic Pet Feeder. Designed for small and medium pets, this feeder offers convenient and precise meal management through its Wi-Fi connectivity and programmable features.

The automatic pet feeder allows remote control via a 2.4GHz WiFi connection, enabling you to manage meal times and portions for your pets from anywhere using the 'Tuya Smart' app. It features a 10-second voice recorder for personalized meal calls, programmable feeding schedules for up to 8 meals a day with 1 to 12 portions (approximately 7g per portion), and a translucent hopper for easy food level monitoring. A dual power supply (DC 5V adapter or 3 D-cell batteries) ensures continuous feeding even during power outages or Wi-Fi disconnection.

4. Installation

4.1 Assemblage

1. Place the food container onto the base, aligning the buckles.
2. Insert the desiccant bag into the desiccant tray located under the lid.
3. Secure the lid onto the food container using the lid buckles.
4. Place the stainless steel food tray into the designated slot at the front of the base.

4.2 Alimentation

4.3 Connexion à l'application (Tuya Smart)

To utilize the smart features, download and connect the feeder to the 'Tuya Smart' app:

1. Download the 'Tuya Smart' app from your smartphone's app store or scan the QR code below.

2. Ouvrez l'application et inscrivez-vous/connectez-vous.
3. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled. The app may request permissions for scanning devices.

4. In the app, select to add a new device. The app should automatically detect the feeder via Bluetooth.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the feeder to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. You will need to enter your Wi-Fi password.

6. Once connected, you can rename your feeder for easy identification.

5.1 Alimentation manuelle

You can manually dispense food directly from the feeder or via the app:

• Sur le feeder : Press the 'FEED' button on the control panel to dispense one portion of food.
• Via l'application : In the 'Tuya Smart' app, select the feeder and choose the manual feeding option to dispense food instantly.

5.2 Alimentation programmée

Set up a customized feeding schedule to ensure your pet is fed regularly:

1. Open the 'Tuya Smart' app and select your feeder.
2. Navigate to the 'Meal Plan' or 'Schedule Feeding' section.
3. Add a new timing: set the desired meal time, select the days of the week, and choose the number of portions (1-12 portions, 7g each).

5.3 Enregistrement vocal

Record a personalized message to call your pet at meal times:

1. Press and hold the record button (microphone icon) on the control panel for 10 seconds.

5.4 Locking the Manual Feed Button

To prevent pets from accidentally or intentionally dispensing food, you can lock the manual 'FEED' button:

• Press and hold the 'FEED' button on the control panel for 6 seconds. The LED indicator will flash twice, confirming the button is locked.
• Repeat the same operation (press and hold for 6 seconds) to unlock the button.
• Note: This lock function does not affect feeding schedules set via the app.

6. Entretien

6.1 Consignes de nettoyage

Un nettoyage régulier garantit l'hygiène et le bon fonctionnement :

• Disassemble the food container, lid, and food tray.
• Wash these removable parts with mild detergent and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reassembly.
• The feeder body (base) should not be filled with water. Use a dry or damp chiffon pour nettoyer l'extérieur.
• Do not place any electronic components or the main feeder body in a dishwasher.

6.2 Remplacement du sac déshydratant

Replace the desiccant bag every 1-2 months to maintain food freshness and prevent moisture buildup.

7. Dépannage

• Feeder fails to connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz. Try using AP mode instead of Bluetooth mode for connection. Check that the LED indicator is flashing.
• Scheduled feedings are not occurring: Verify that the feeder is powered by both the adapter and backup batteries. Check the app for correct time zone settings and ensure schedules are saved.
