1. Introduction
The Yard Force Compact 400Ri robotic lawn mower is designed for automated lawn maintenance on areas up to 400m². This device features quiet operation, making it suitable for use at any time. 2. Consignes de sécurité

4. Installation
4.1. Emplacement des bornes de recharge
Select a flat area with access to a power outlet. Ensure there is at least 2 meters of straight perimeter wire before and after the charging station for proper docking. The station should be protected from direct sunlight and heavy rain if possible.
4.2. Perimeter Wire Installation
Lay the perimeter wire around the designated mowing area. The wire defines the boundaries for the robotic mower. Secure the wire with the provided pegs. Maintain a distance of approximately 35cm from edges and obstacles. For areas with flowerbeds or trees, create islands by routing the wire around them. Ensure the wire is connected securely to the charging station terminals.
4.3. Charge initiale
Connect the charging station to a power outlet. Place the robotic mower onto the charging station. Allow the mower to charge fully before its first operation. The charging indicator on the mower or station will confirm charging status.

5. Mode d'emploi
5.1. Démarrage et arrêt
To start the mower, press the 'Start' button on the control panel or via the app. To stop, press the 'Stop' button. The mower will cease operation and can be manually returned to the charging station or sent via the app.
5.2. Mowing Schedules
Use the Yard Force app to set customized mowing schedules. You can define specific days and times for the mower to operate. The mower will automatically leave its charging station, mow, and return when finished or when the battery is low.
5.3. Rain Sensor Function
The integrated rain sensors detect precipitation. If activated, the mower will automatically return to its charging station when rain is detected and resume its schedule once the lawn is dry.
5.4. iRadar Obstacle Avoidance
The iRadar technology uses ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles in the mowing path. Upon detection, the mower will slow down, change direction, and navigate around the obstacle, ensuring safe operation without collisions.

5.5. Fonction de paillage
The Compact 400Ri is designed for mulching. It finely cuts grass clippings and distributes them back onto the lawn. This process naturally fertilizes the grass, promoting a healthier and greener lawn.

6. Entretien
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robotic lawn mower. Always switch off the mower and remove it from the charging station before performing any maintenance.

Inspect the blades regularly for wear and damage. Replace dull or chipped blades with new ones from the spare blade set. Use protective gloves and the appropriate tool to unscrew and replace the blades. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
