1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation and operation of your new iJDMTOY F30 Style Carbon Fiber Finish LED Illuminated Shift Knob Gear Selector. This product is designed to upgrade your vehicle's interior with a modern, illuminated shift knob.

2. Contenu du colis

3. Configuration (Installation)

Follow these steps carefully to install your new shift knob. It is recommended to watch the provided installation video for a visual guide.

3.1. Préparation

1. Garez votre véhicule sur une surface plane et serrez le frein de stationnement.
2. Turn off the vehicle's ignition completely.
3. For safety, disconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery. This prevents electrical shorts during the installation process.

3.2. Remove Original Shift Knob and Trim

4. Firmly pull upwards on the original shift knob to detach it from the shifter shaft. This may require significant force.
5. Carefully pry up the surrounding trim panel from the inside, starting from the edges, to expose the shifter mechanism and electrical connectors.
6. Disconnect all electrical connectors attached to the original shift knob assembly and trim.

3.3. Connect New Shift Knob Wiring

7. Connect the provided pre-wired adapter to the vehicle's panel gear indicator lights. This adapter is designed to integrate seamlessly without requiring complex wiring modifications.
8. Connect the new F30 style shift knob to the adapter harness.

3.4. Install New Shift Knob and Reassemble

9. Before fully reassembling, reconnect the vehicle battery and turn on the ignition to test all LED indicator lights on the new shift knob. Ensure they illuminate correctly for each gear position (P, R, N, D, M/S).
10. Once confirmed working, disconnect the battery again.
11. Carefully reinstall the leather boot and push the new shifter firmly into place until it clicks securely.
12. Reattach the trim panel, ensuring all clips are engaged.

4. Mode d'emploi

Your new iJDMTOY F30 Style LED Illuminated Shift Knob features intuitive operation and clear visual feedback:

• Indicateurs LED : The shift knob features functional LED indicator lights. Green LEDs indicate the current gear position (Park, Drive, Neutral, Reverse, and M/S mode). The lettering on the knob is illuminated with an iconic orange light.
• Parking Button: A dedicated push button is located on the knob for engaging the Park (P) gear.
• Gear Change Button: A thumb button is used for changing between different gears.

5. Entretien

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your shift knob:

• Clean the shift knob regularly with a soft, damp tissu.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the carbon fiber finish or the LED components.
• Ensure the leather boot is free from debris to prevent wear.

6. Dépannage
