Once batteries are installed in both units, the base station will automatically search for the outdoor sensor signal. This may take a few minutes. Ensure both units are within range of each other.

4.2 Placement

For accurate readings and optimal signal transmission, consider the following placement guidelines:

  • Station de base : Place the main unit indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts. It can be placed on a table using its integrated stand or mounted on a wall.
  • Capteur extérieur : Position the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct rain and sunlight, to ensure accurate temperature and humidity measurements. While it is designed for outdoor use, extreme weather conditions can affect its performance and lifespan. The wireless transmission range is up to 60 meters (197 feet) in open areas. Walls and other obstacles may reduce this range.
