3. Instructions de configuration

1. Sélectionner les points d'ancrage : Choose two healthy, sturdy trees or posts that are approximately 10-15 feet (3-4.5 meters) apart. Ensure the anchor points are free of sharp edges or obstructions that could damage the straps.
2. Wrap Strap Around Tree: Take one Atlas XL strap and wrap it around the tree trunk at your desired hanging height. Pass the end of the strap with the loops through the larger loop at the other end of the strap, creating a girth hitch around the tree. Pull it snug.

3. Repeat for Second Tree: Perform the same wrapping procedure for the second Atlas XL strap on the other tree.
4. Attacher le hamac : Using compatible carabiners (sold separately), attach each end of your hammock to one of the loops on the Atlas XL straps. The straps feature 40 combined attachment points, allowing for fine-tuning of hammock tension and height.

5. Régler la tension : Adjust the hammock's sag and height by moving the carabiners to different loops on the straps. A good starting point is to have the hammock hang in a gentle curve, with the lowest point about 18 inches (45 cm) from the ground when seated.

Once the hammock is securely set up using the Atlas XL Suspension System, you can safely use it for relaxation. Always enter and exit the hammock carefully. Distribute your weight evenly when lying down.

5. Entretien

• Difficulty finding suitable trees: The Atlas XL straps are 4.11 meters (13.5 feet) long, providing flexibility for wider tree spans. If trees are too far apart, consider a different hanging location.
