1. Introduction

The Davis WeatherLink® Live Model 6100 is a device designed to collect and stream weather data from various Davis Instruments sensors to the WeatherLink Cloud. This allows users to access real-time and historical weather information through the WeatherLink app or website. The device supports a wide range of sensors and offers flexible connectivity options, including Wi-Fi and Ethernet, making it a central hub for your personal weather network.

2. Contenu de la boîte

Upon unboxing your WeatherLink Live, ensure all the following components are present:

  • WeatherLink Live Unit

3. Instructions de configuration

Follow these steps to set up your WeatherLink Live device:

  1. Download the WeatherLink App: Rechercher "WeatherLink" in your device's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store) and install it.
  2. Allumez l'appareil : Connect the USB power cable to the WeatherLink Live unit and then to the AC adapter. Plug the AC adapter into a power outlet. The device will power on automatically.
  3. Connectez-vous via Bluetooth : Open the WeatherLink app on your smartphone or tablet. Navigate to the 'Accounts' section and tap the 'Add' button next to 'WeatherLink Live'. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect to your WeatherLink Live unit via Bluetooth. Ensure your phone is near the device and Bluetooth is enabled.
  4. Name and Configure: Within the app, you will be prompted to name your WeatherLink Live device and configure basic settings such as archive rate.
  5. Select Internet Connection: Choose your preferred internet connection method: Wi-Fi or Ethernet. If using Wi-Fi, select your network and enter the password. If using Ethernet, connect an Ethernet cable from the WeatherLink Live unit to your router.
  6. Add Weather Stations and Sensors: Once the WeatherLink Live is installed, proceed to add your existing Davis Instruments weather stations (e.g., Vantaget Vue, Vantage Pro2) and other compatible sensors through the app.

4. Mode d'emploi

After successful setup, your WeatherLink Live will continuously stream data to the WeatherLink Cloud. You can access and manage your weather data using the following methods:

  • WeatherLink App: Use the mobile application to view real-time data, historical graphs, forecasts, and manage your sensors. The app allows for easy analysis and comparison of various weather parameters.
  • WeatherLink.com: Access your data through the WeatherLink website for a more comprehensive view, advanced analysis tools, and data sharing options.

5. Entretien

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your WeatherLink Live device, consider the following maintenance guidelines:

  • Nettoyage: Periodically wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
