The Idatalink Compustar Blade-AL is a universal 'all-in-one' integration cartridge designed for seamless integration with Blade-compatible remote start modules, vehicle security, and convenience products. This module acts as an essential intermediary between your remote start system and the vehicle's computer, enabling remote start functionality without compromising factory security. It supports over 4000 vehicle models from 1997 to date, including exclusive KLON firmware applications.

2. Setup and Initial Programming
Before installation, the Blade-AL module requires programming with vehicle-specific firmware. This process is performed using a computer and the Idatalink WebMise à jour des liens.
2.1 Composants requis

- Plug the ADS-USB cable into an available USB port on your computer.
- Connect the cable labeled 'Idatalink Module' from the ADS-USB to the black RS232 data port on the Compustar controller.

2.4 Programmation du logiciel
Follow these steps to program your module:
- Lancez Internet Explorer et accédez à compustar.idatalink.com.
- Select the 'Flash Your Module' option on the website.
- Once the hardware is detected, you will be directed to the programming home screen.
- Under 'Vehicle Selection', choose the correct year, make, and model of the vehicle you will be working on.
- You can either configure specific features for the Blade-AL module or select 'Flash' to load the default settings.
- The site will confirm 'Flashing Completed!' and provide the appropriate installation guide for download.
- While the controller is still plugged in, select the 'Remote Starter' tab. Here, you can configure additional features such as remote start run time, programmable outputs, and double pulse unlock. These settings can also be adjusted in the vehicle using an OP500 programmer.
- This tab also allows you to update the firmware for the controller when available.

3. Fonctionnement
Once the Blade-AL module and Compustar controller are properly flashed and configured, they will enable remote start and other convenience features for your vehicle. The module seamlessly integrates with your vehicle's immobilizer system, allowing the remote starter to function without requiring a spare key to be left inside the vehicle.
Specific operational details, such as remote start sequence, lock/unlock functions, and trunk release, will depend on the features configured during the programming process and the capabilities of your Compustar remote starter system.

4. Entretien
The Idatalink Compustar Blade-AL module is designed for long-term reliability and typically requires minimal maintenance. To ensure optimal performance and longevity:
