4. Installation et configuration

The Olimpia Splendid Unico Air 8 HP is designed for internal installation, eliminating the need for an external unit. Professional installation is highly recommended.

4.1. Sélection du site

Choose a suitable wall location that is structurally sound and allows for proper air circulation. The unit must be installed on an external perimeter wall.

4.2. Installation Steps (Indicative)

1. Position the template on the chosen wall.
2. Drill two holes (approx. 160-162mm diameter) through the wall using a core drill.
3. Insert the special self-locking grilles for the UNICO unit into the drilled holes.
4. Fix the UNICO unit to the appropriate bracket provided in the packaging.

4.3. Connexion électrique

Connect the unit to a suitable power supply (230 Volt) as per local electrical codes. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before making any electrical connections.

5. Mode d'emploi

The Unico Air 8 HP can be operated via the included remote control or the Olimpia Splendid Unico smartphone app (Wi-Fi kit sold separately).

• Bouton d'alimentation : Allume/éteint l'appareil.
• Bouton Mode : Cycles de fonctionnement : Refroidissement, Chauffage, Déshumidification, Ventilation.
• Bouton de vitesse du ventilateur : Régule la vitesse du ventilateur (Faible, Moyenne, Élevée, Automatique).
• Boutons de température (+/-) : Augmente ou diminue la température de consigne.
• Bouton de minuterie : Permet de régler la minuterie de mise en marche ou d'arrêt automatique (jusqu'à 24 heures).
• Bouton ÉCO : Active le mode d'économie d'énergie.
• Bouton Swing : Contrôle l'oscillation verticale du déflecteur d'air.

5.2. Modes de fonctionnement

• Mode de refroidissement : Réduit la température ambiante.
• Heating Mode (Heat Pump): Augmente la température ambiante.
• Mode déshumidification : Élimine l’excès d’humidité de l’air.
• Mode de ventilation: Fait circuler l’air sans refroidissement ni chauffage.

5.3. Contrôle Wi-Fi (en option)

For smartphone control, purchase the optional Wi-Fi kit (model B1015) and download the Olimpia Splendid Unico app from the App Store or Google Play. Follow the app's instructions for pairing and control.

6. Entretien

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Unico Air 8 HP unit. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.

6.1. Nettoyage du filtre à air

The unit is equipped with a multi-filtration system (electrostatic and active carbon filters). Clean the air filters regularly, typically every two weeks, or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

1. Ouvrez le panneau avant de l'appareil.
2. Retirez soigneusement les filtres à air.
3. Nettoyez les filtres à l'aspirateur ou lavez-les à l'eau tiède et au détergent doux.
4. Laisser les filtres sécher complètement avant de les réinsérer.
5. Fermez le panneau avant.

6.2. Unit Exterior Cleaning

Essuyez l'extérieur de l'appareil avec un chiffon doux.amp chiffon. N'utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs ou de solvants.

6.3. Condensate Drain (Heat Pump Models)

For heat pump models, automatic condensate drainage occurs during cooling. During heating, a condensate drain might be necessary. Ensure the drain pipe is not obstructed.
